Benito was in a desperate need of a rebrand after Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana
Something to match his new album.
He and his unofficial styling team took inspiration from your instagram page and other people you’ve styled to start off his tour.
Now You have styled celebrities before Teyana Taylor, Letitia Wright, Damson Idris, A$AP Rocky etc. But you haven’t had an actual client that you style consistently.
But the anticipation for stylists heightened when The Met gala theme for 2025 was announced in November so far you have taken 5 clients designing, fitting, measuring, This past 5 months were very stressful thankfully you can use this last month as your downtime.
You were drawing in your small studio apartment a Met gala look for this year’s theme. It’s Not likely that anyone is gonna wear it was 5 weeks until the met and all of your clients were already taken care of. Your phone buzzed on the table
You stopped drawing and checked your phone
“Rimas Entertainment?”
You placed the phone on your shoulder pressing your ear against it to remain hands free to keep working
Hello?
A man’s voice answered in a Puerto Rican accent “Hey is this y/n y/ln”
“This is she”
“Yes this is Noah Assad, co-founder and CEO of Rimas Entertainment we wanted to hire you for one of my artist for the upcoming met gala”
This would’ve been your sixth client you took and it’s last minute this is not something you’d normally take
“Uh Have I already taken them? if not I won’t be accepting anymore clients at the moment”
“I know this is last minute but Benito really loves your work and he’s been busy with his tour we’ll pay you more if you can squeeze him in, Say 100 grand”
You stopped dropped your pencil and took your phone off your shoulder
“100 grand?”
“Yes ma’am As long as he makes it to the Met gala with a piece 100 grand”
That money was possibly the most you’d make in one piece you couldn’t turn this down.
“That sounds great but I don’t know if I can do much in a months time”
“Whatever you can do is fine i’m sure you’ll figure out something.”
You looked Down at your drawing you made, A brown kid mohair suit with a slightly cropped jacket, beige tie and flared trousers.
“I think I can work something out have him come over to get measured by the end of the week, I’ll text you the address but uh who is this for again?”
