I took an astronomy class in college thinking it would be super cool to learn about the universe and stars exploding — that shit ended up being one of the hardest classes I had taken! Didn’t stop me from admiring the stars, though 🌌 anyone know the constellations I painted?

I’m going to the local art museum this weekend to see the Monet exhibit, so it’s only fitting to paint Water Lilies on this overall dress! It’s gorgeous with the light wash denim, don’t you think?

Skeletons and black denim? Hell yes 🖤 this baby took quite a while, but she’s gorgeous and badass! | Fun fact: if you’ve ever watched my time lapses, did you notice I freehand when painting on denim? I usually sketch the piece on paper first, but I don’t draw anything to follow on denim before painting.

Reposting one of my favorite digital pieces from 2018 - “familiar” was created for #Mermay right after I got my iPad! For the new year, I want to focus on building my art more than ever. I hope to step away from the life of a workaholic and create that balance outside of my full time job. I want to continue to discover more of what I can do with digital art, as well as take the time to sit down with a paint brush and watercolor paints like I used to do. I have to remind myself that 2018 was a great step forward in living my dream - I finally created a website, was able to purchase a lot of much needed supplies, and completed my first real illustration project that was extremely well received!
