When the majority of people stop watching catty things such as messy drama filled reality shows, then maybe we will see a slight change in our lives. And we can't say we're not influenced by at least 1 if not more of these characters. Who hasn't quoted Nene Leakes in a joking way or argument: bloop!; Close ya legs to married men; we see each other; I cash trump checks bitch! Or some of the other women on the show. Who hasn't sent a gif of Naomi Campbell doing a hair flip, or rolling her eyes or laugh; or a gif of Maria Carey being a diva. Who hasn't been at a dinner party and said something shady just to sip on their drink just so that people could think, "uuuuu you betta not come for him!". Who hasn't found out some secret information just to run to they friends and feel all excited and say, "uuuuu girrrrrl, i got some tea for you today bihhh". Black ink crew, Basketball wives, House wives, hell even it's a Mann's world with Tamela Mann (gospel singer) and her family had drama in it. We see how the drama is laid out and we, for the most part, see it being worked out. So naturally we see the possibility of us having the same results. The reality is, however, that is a show that has people and production working to have certain drama to occur, only for that drama to be resolved by certain inflictions of certain actions by certain people. This is all controlled by the programming's management team for ratings. We are lured into having friends that cause drama because it'll make us feel like we're living a high profile lifestyle, a lifestyle that is flaunted on TV as something desirable and necessary in our lives. But, when we have this type of drama in our own personal life, we don't have anybody working towards a resolution for these problems, a lot of times we have people that will entice and encourage more drama causing relationships to be strained and not sustained by fundamental principles of forgiveness, humility, and love. We are filled by these shows with an idea of a lifestyle that begets hostility, betrayal, pride, miscommunication, and plethora of other ilwilled motives and feelings. I know the majority of us will probably not give up these shows. But try and give up drama filled shows for just a month and see how your life becomes less dramatic. If it doesn't, then ask yourself honest questions as to why your life might feel like a reality show. Now, I'm not saying that we don't all have our issues, there is one (Satan/devilish people) who will always bring machinations against you. Rise above these problems, not in a "look at me I'm rising above" type of way, but in a way to where almost no one even notices you rose above a situation, but only see you at peace not only with yourself, but with those around you as well.
