CARSON AND SEBASTIAN
Sebastian was glad he had decided to take a refreshing shower the second he got back to his suite after class had ended for the day; he had just stepped out of the shower when he got Carson’s message for the event, so it took him a short while before he changed into some more comfortable clothes, black slacks and shoes, and a white shirt, with the two tops buttons undone. He was curious as to what their meeting would bring, also happy of having the chance to interact with more people than he usually would. And with a Clarington too, which wasn’t unknown territory. Both families went long back from the old days, so they weren’t strangers at all. He ran his fingers through his damped hair as he made the final steps to the lobby of the building, and the moment he pushed the door open he spotted the other man kneeling in front of the door, and that was a welcoming sight. “Carson” he said with a warm tone and a nod. “I’m glad we have the chance to do this. Let’s go somewhere we can sit and talk- You know what I mean” he said with a soft chuckled, then offered him his hand so Carson would stand up and follow him.
Even though Carson had gotten back to school a few weeks prior, he’d been keeping to himself as much as possible. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to interact with others, to meet people, and build new friendships and relationships, but more that his own anxiety left him feeling apprehensive. Communication was hard, he didn’t have the backing of having a built-in claim being born a Clarington submissive, and he often found himself wondering if he might somehow wind up at school forever. But, he knew the Smythes, having grown up with their families running within the same political and social circles. There was a level of comfortability, even with the recent tensions. When he heard Sebastian speak, Carson lifted his head, offering a warm smile. Nodding, he collected his whiteboard, taking Sebastian’s hand as he raised himself from the ground. As they walked, he wrote, his handwriting neat despite the movement of their walking. It’s good to see you, Sir. I hope you are well. I’m glad I was paired with you too. I was worried it might be someone I didn’t know. I do know what you mean, don’t worry. How have you been, Sir? I want to hear all about how things are going. Displaying the message to Sebastian, he smiled again, nodding encouragingly.
