⊹₊ star wars is hugely important to me. it's my primary special interest and A Huge Part of My Identity. Several planets are my heart home, and my gender identity is tied in particular with the Resistance. Don't follow if you're negative about the franchise.

I love it when I get to watch a man touch himself. The way his eyes flick up to mine, desperate for approval. It starts as a show, but I always see the moment it shifts, when he loses himself in it. Let's do this one last time... as everyone knows, my financial circumstances right now are less than stellar. I'm dealing with consistent food insecurity/trying to come up with bills. Worse, I can't find any work, so I'm taking to doing side gigs. Right now is one of the hardest stretches we've had, and I've unfortunately not been able to bring enough in recently to get more than a couple day's worth of food here and there.

Preferably, I’d like to do fandoms I’m familiar with. But at this point, I don’t have room to be picky: if you wish to receive a gif header from a fandom I’m unfamiliar with, I’ll need more information to work with: what season/episode do you want it from, etc, as I won’t have the necessary context otherwise. I will also check to make sure I can find the footage I need for any commissions before accepting them (chances are if it's Star Wars, I probably already have it).

WHAT I WON’T MAKE:

Anything involving nudity or sexual activity (using my gifs on 18+ blogs or even for mature/explicit fics is fine, I just don't want to gif sexual stuff)

Scenes with gore

Giffing celebrities; icons are fine, but finding HD footage for actors/actresses in interviews is time-consuming and difficult to work with.

very emotional about poe tonight. he's my safe space, in so many ways. it's insane to think that eleven years ago, I was just a kid who has been triggered to hell and was low-key agoraphobic and paranoid from it all the time, going to see tfa in theaters for the first time, and having my life utterly changed by the character i expected the least from.

i don't know what all drew me to him. attraction, of course, was the start. the switch that got flipped that he was just as kind as he was a sarcastic little shit (like me). but something more than that. he was defiant: afraid, yet brave. he had something truly unspeakable done to him and yet came out of it swinging and gave 'em hell and had the wherewithal to offer someone compassion and understanding and acknowledgement for the first time in their lives.

to think of everything that's happened since, blows my mind. a monthly escape from the nightmare that was the rest of my teen years? discovering more and more parts of my identity? finding my found family? meeting all of my friends? beginning to heal from my trauma? becoming a genuinely better person? Like. I don't know who I'd be without Poe. He's just home to me. And I've honestly been so scared of losing that, that I've been avoiding him a bit but fuck that honestly. I'm gonna go home.

i miss writing poe but I just. I'm really struggling to picture myself in that universe right now. Emilia is so easy cos I'm just translating my day to day shit, but I dunno. Hard to picture a place in the GFFA for someone like me y'know? Like I don't know how to. connect anymore.
