Morgan returned Damien’s kiss before he set her down. She fixed her skirt, then bent and picked up her shirt before turning back to him. She smiled at what he told her, and went up on her toes to kiss him again, bracing herself on his chest. “Right back at ya. On all counts. Damien,” she paused. Even after everything they had gone through, everything he had done for her, and everything they had both said, she was still unspeakably nervous whenever she let him in past her wall. “You’re It, I think. I am completely and irrevocably yours.”
Damien leaned down until he was barely an inch from Morgan's face. "I'm yours too. Until you decide you don't want me anymore. But even then, I'll love you for the rest of my life," Damien smiled as he leaned in to kiss her ever so softly. "I mean it. You're my everything." Damien couldn't believe that a frisky jaunt in a wooded area had led to this conversation, but he had wanted to tell her these things ever since the night in his apartment when she had walked away from him. He knew he would always be in love with Morgan, no matter what happened. "Everything," he said one last time to make sure she understood the gravity of this moment, how he felt, what he wanted.
