The Tether Incident (NASA footage)
On Sunday, February 25, 1996, the Space Shuttle Columbia deployed an experimental tether into orbit. The experiment was called the Tethered Satellite System.Â
Unfortunately, the tether broke. Still, approximately five hours of data were recorded.Â
We are able to see many Ufos floating around the broken tether. Some say this is space debris reflecting sunlight. However, stabilization and flightpath tracking technology was applied to the video (flight path video linked below)

This tech has allowed us to see these crafts flying in a way no inanimate space object could. We see these UFOs blink, change speed, sharply change direction, and occasionally stop. Â
Space debris? That ainât it chief.Â
