And we've finally reached Day 31 and I've saved the best for last, Hocus Pocus.  This is by far the greatest movie ever made, yeah there are some goofs, and I'm not sure why everyone was so shocked that Max was a virgin.

Day 30 - Tricks and Treats, from Freaks and Geeks

Sam and his friends go trick or treating and its super weird.  Lindsay goes along with the Freaks to smash pumpkins, knock down mailboxes and egg kids.

And this scene with Bill getting into his character (The Bionic Woman) is pretty much the greatest thing in the world.

Day 29 - Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School

In this Scooby Doo movie, Scooby, Shaggy, and Scrappy end up at Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Ghouls, where all the students are the daughters of classic monsters.  The school has a volleyball match against the neighboring all boys military school and supernatural high-jinks ensue.  Of course in the end they all team up to go against the evil Revolta.

Day 28 - The Slutty Pumpkin, "How I Met Your Mother"

I'm pretty sure this episode is where I fell in love with How I Met Your Mother.  Every year for Halloween, Ted goes to a roof-top party to see the Slutty Pumpkin, a girl he had meant years ago.  He wears the same costume, an adorable Hanging Chad costume so she will remember him.  Barney tries to get him to go another party and is prepared with 3 costumes. 

Seasons later Ted is reunited with the Slutty Pumpkin, played by Katie Holmes.  But it's not nearly as good as the first Slutty Pumpkin episode.

Day 27 - The House on Haunted Hill (1959)

In this classic film a wealthy man (played by Vincent Price) invites strangers to stay in his house, Hill House, for the night.  If they stay the whole time they each get $10,000.  Of course creepy shenanigans occur.

Day 25

From season 3 of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is the episode "Good Will Haunting".  Sabrina's Aunt Beulah invites the Spellmans over for a Halloween party at an Insane Aslyum.  When Sabrina has her friends over  instead, Aunt Beulah sends her a creepy doll that decides monsters would be fun.

What 90s American childhood would be complete without an Ernest movie?

Day 24 brings the movie Ernest Scared Stupid.  Look at those trolls they are truly terrifying, plus the whole turning kids into dolls thing.  This movie also proved that Super Soakers were a necessity, you never know when evil trolls will take over your town.

Pretty much the creepiest episode ever.

Day 21 is the episode "Halloween" from the second season of New Girl.  The second half of this episode takes place at a haunted house and all the characters are dealing with relationship issues (because haunted houses are the same as relationships).  Also, Nick is adorable as Bea Arthur.

Day 20: The Birds

Today we have one of Alfred Hitchcock's classic movies: The Birds.  It's pretty cheesy and unintentionally funny at times, but it is still a terrific suspenseful film.
