EXAMS DONE
Finally the semester ended...was a long one! As a reward, my wonderful girlfriend Rebecca had flown out to see me. We spent the next few days chilling in Kingston, soaking up the joys that it had to offer. These included some very decent food, a comedy club and we also went to see the Frontenacs in a good ol’ Canadian hockey game at the end of the week...eh. Nice.
Jacket kicking race.
16/12/15
The famous Queen’s Eng jackets that they all love to slam so much were finally arriving to be distributed with this year’s batch of students. The tradition goes that we’re still not allowed to touch the jackets with our hands until our exams had finished. As such the upper years spend half the day throwing the new jackets up trees, tying frosh in jacket circles and ensuring no one touches their new jacket and is left with no other choice than to kick it home.
Soz...
The end of semester brought with it lots of deadlines and some not so nice exams. I got a little lazy with uploads but I’m about to upload a bucketful.
How long is it until all your assessments are over?
My final exam is this Monday the 14th!
I'm excited to see you again soon.
So am I.
Obviously you're excited to see me right?
Of course.
Christmas is imminent. How do you feel about this?
Excited. Sad. Relieved.Â
I’m on a buzz for some Christmas festivity. Swamped with deadlines I don’t think I’ll be getting much of a lead up to Christmas so I reckon it’s gunna hit me like santa sucka punching me in the face with a cold turkey...in a good way. People are nice here though and I will definitely be sad to be leaving some of them in Canadaland. Ya’all should all come visit me. As wonderful as they are though, the academic side of this trip has been up naaasty. I’ve had a few successes with the Queen’s study material here and there but I’ll be glad to be back around some familiar faces who’ll be studying the same things that I am again.
Two weeks to go and the study term will be ‘dusted’; more on that later. Really looking forward to having a little trip to Toronto with Beck and to start gettin ma Christmas ooon.
Precisely how many balls have you successfully dodged?
Every. Single. One.
(I lied)
Hello!
Hiii.
15/11/15
Nooot a whole lot to report this week. Been doing some work and finding the time to hang out with my faithful ol’ buddy Netflix.
In a month’s time I will have finished my Autumn semester. That’s pretty scary as I’ve got quite a bit of work to do between now and then and but buzzed to come home and see all of those people that I like.

Hallooo.
Another week of classes, I got some disappointing, but not surprising, results from one of my midterms. However I had an economics midterm Wednesday which went quite well so not all bad.Â
This weekend I tried my hand at squash. I’ve got a friend who was keen to go and play so we had a good run around in a box chasing a bouncy ball...was good fun.

Hello everyone.
It’s been a while since the last text post so I’ll fill you in. I’ve been doing a little work here and there as I’ve been in the midst of midterm season. I will say that there’s been a distinct contrast in how I’ve felt coming out of some midterms relative to others. I’m just currently crossing my fingers that I make the pass mark.
Halloween was this weekend and I had a great time; I brewed a cracking cup of tea which was simply delicious. Now Halloween is officially over, I can settle into my, long awaited, ambassadorial role as Christmas joy enforcer. Tis the season. Better recognise.
Another midterm is coming this Wednesday, economics this time. Believe it or not, it’s actually one of my better classes.
Anyway I hope everyone is suitably well and deep into planning my welcome home party. I expect you all to be there.
