one thing i really loved about team dark in shadow’s story during 06 was how rouge realized the reason omega was in standby mode in the first place was because she sent him to help shadow. like, we don’t talk about how fucking smart rouge is, or how loyal omega is. mother fucker really went into standby mode not allowing external access for 200 years. imagine going offline for that long just to help your bestie deal with the boogie man. i don’t think i’m ever going to be over the knowing look rouge gives the camera when she mentions she’s gonna contact omega, like thats the smirk of someone who KNOWS they’re about to out play the guy pulling the strings in all of this. its so great. rouge and omega don’t get enough credit man, i would kill for them.

i think what i love most about omega is the fact that he’s straight up a robot built for mass destruction and was clearly designed with the intention in mind to kill and destroy, but like. it completely backfired on eggman. and instead of maiming people all omega is interested in is wrecking eggman’s shit to prove he’s superior KFJHKDGHD and team dark just accepts this.
