He burst out laughing for a moment once the other guy walked away. "Eyy, you'se just gotta remember, you're datin' a guy from Brooklyn now..." Stephen finally dropped the accent and shook his head, giving her a little hug, hands on her hips. "So I think I do at least get a drink for my stellar performance there?"

“Okay I hate to say this but my savings from Ohio are starting to run a bit lower than I would like. I really need to get a job so I can pay for this shitty apartment. Do you think you could look over my resume for me? I have my old jobs on there, some of them are pretty sucky huh? The bar I was at was sketchy, and that restaurant, ew. God, I hope I get a halfway decent job.”

“Mine is chock full of acting crap, man, but I’ll check it out if you want... at least can give you the overall impression of it?” Taking the paper in his hand, he ran his palm over his face and read thoughtfully for a few moments. “You know... maybe we should slim some of this other stuff down to make it -exactly- what your ideal employer will want? When I was going for Wicked, I only put my singing gigs on there because I knew that was all they’d care about.”

“Hey, take a hike pal...” Stephen said, stepping between Violet and the guy, his hands sliding onto her waist as he pressed between them. “He messin’ with you, babe?” acted Stephen (including a sudden Brooklyn accent), purposefully giving her ‘stage kisses’ on her neck that would look like real kisses to the other guy.
