Update; important

Nerissa was hesitant at the invite at first, but she couldn’t say no because she have wanted to experience a ballroom themed event. This could be her chance to meet Victoria’s colleagues and friends who are planning to attend the party as well. Although Nerissa isn’t used to meeting new people, she could try her best to socialize and tag along. Maybe she could meet a new friend there too.

“Oh, of course, Victoria! I would love to! I’d be happy to be your plus one!” Nerissa nodded in reply, giving her a wide grin, “As long you let me know the time and the venue, then I’m all good.” She chuckled and added, “Or perhaps, we could exchange numbers so you can text the information at any time?”

❝ Perfect, I can have my driver pick you up sometime next week? It’ll be on a friday evening at my childhood home. Well more of an estate but still home nonetheless. ❞ Victoria reached into her bag to pull out a small business card that displayed her position as CEO of Atlas Technologies. Below it had her cell phone number as well. ❝ If you can send me a text with the name, I’ll add you to my contacts and send the information. ❞

Handing over the card, she smiled brightly. Was this what is was like making new friends? Lord knows she hadn’t done it in awhile, but it was a nice feeling being able to chat with someone and gain them as a friend. ❝ Let’s go make our purchases, I feel as if we lingered long enough. ❞

emerald hues darted to the hand that neared the feline and after a short moment, the cat leaned over, sniffing the outstretched hand briefly before it leaned in and pressed into the hand with a soft purr.  the emerald eyes of the orange tabby cat had fallen closed in bliss before they opened again when the other had spoken.  a lap to lay in?  yes please.  there was a happy chirping noise that came from the cat before it hopped onto the other’s lap and that’s when the cat made itself comfortable, spinning around twice before curling up in a ball.

Nathaniel gentle scratched the cat and smiled as he did so. Hearing the noise from the animal he chuckled and withdrew his hand. He took that the happy chirping as a yes and leaned back so the cat could jump into his lap. Once the animal got comfortable. Nathaniel went back to softly petting the fur, every so often scratching behind the ears and back to petting its back. With his abilities he was able to move his laptop an inch over so he could reach over and type. After some moments he able to finish his paper and send it off to the instructor. Reaching for his phone he took a picture of the animal and him and sent it off to that girl Rosalie Atlas.

Otherwise, she’d usually order the same things all the time because she was often taste testing different blends for work on a daily or weekly basis. She was about to place Claire’s order when the spoke again, saying they wanted to get HER usual instead and if she didn’t like it she’d get her regular. “You sure? I like my coffee pretty PLAIN, to be honest. I usually just get an Americano with an extra shot or two if I need it.” Malia didn’t mind giving that to her if she wanted it, but just to be safe she wanted to make sure before she started making anything. Not that it’d take long anyways.

❝ Americano with two shots and add some whip cream! ❞ Claire stated, the coffee would do her wonders, mainly since college classes were way more intense than high school classes. Brushing her hands through her wavy hair she took out her wallet to pay for the drink. ❝ So Malia, how is your day going? How are classes? You’re taking classes this semester right? ❞ The wolf asked as she sat herself down at one of the stools close to the counter. ❝ I’m taking some nursing courses and I think I’m getting some scrubs soon! My goal is get baby blue ones since baby blue is cute as Hell. ❞
