I broke my ankle last week, and today at my follow up with my orthopedic, I found out that I need surgery to put in a plate and screws.  I’m gonna try to be on as much as possible this week because I really need the distraction.

Piper saw Alex in the hideous bright orange prison uniform when Pennsatucky was showing the new girls around, but she chose to look away.  Piper knew that her former lover would be back.  She was the one who ratted Alex out in the first place...sort of.  But, she could never know that.

Piper acted surprised when she saw her ex in the cafeteria, knowing that Alex would kill her if she knew.  “Alex?  What are you doing back in here?”

"I don’t feel like eating cake now anyway. Not exactly a celebration, is it?" She said emotionless. She was starting to feel numb, she was so tired of crying and all she wanted to do was curl up with Piper and just sleep.. Sleep for a long time and wake up and be happy again. "Okay." She went to the fridge to take the sprite that was indeed there and sipped it. 

"Just carry on is fine." Alex followed after Piper, just focusing on her lover and ignored everything around her. She waited patiently as Piper took care of everything and once they were checked in both went to customs, just going through emotions she put her stuff in the box and walked through the portal. Once it was clear she took her belongings back. Taking her fiancee’s hand they made their way to the gate. "Thank you." She said softly. She wasn’t sure what she was thanking her for, but she needed to say it.

The confusion was really bothering Piper.  Maybe this would change Alex, show her that life's too short to just be running around the world, danger at every turn.  "It's fine."  She placed her hand on Alex's shoulder, concern evident in her eyes.  "You sure you're feeling okay?"  The gesture was a bit formal, but it was masked by concern.  Piper just couldn't do it anymore, but if Alex changed...she would feel different.

"Let's get to our gate, okay?"  She offered her a small smile.  "Did you let your aunt know that we were coming back?  That we're on our way?"  Again, she would have to think about things after the funeral, see what Alex would do.

"You can be a rude bitch when you wanna be. Here I’m praising our sex life and you are threatening to drain my liquor. Mean. Yes ma’am.. shutting up. "I know and I promise, I really so." She smiled at the usher when they were shown to their seats and set down. "You know I love you." Alex leaned over and kissed her cheek.

She lightly hit her once more.  "I'm serious.  Down the drain."  She held up her hand and waved it while mouthing "bye bye".  She laughed.  "You know I love it, and I love you.  But all this publicizing will be the death of that booze I swear, or I could be meaner...."  She laughed.  Just as much as Alex loved teasing her, Piper loved to tease the dark haired beauty back.

Sitting down, she smiled at her lover.  "I love you too."  She leaned her head on the other's shoulder, sighing.  "I'm glad we finally got to do this."
