This is so interesting to hear an openly gay actor talk about choosing to play Javert as a gay character too because it makes sense for him and his story arc and adds to him as a character! (Also “Happy Pride from Javert 🏳️‍🌈” 🥹❤️)

So I got to talk to him at stage door closing night, and it was REALLY nice and we talked about being closeted (i grew up catholic) and i think i made him happy, but he told me something intense that i gotta cut for it being about Javert's death

He told me, god this is intense, that Javert didn't *know* until his death scene, when he was saying "man" he knew and he, well. There was no way to go one.

I'm devestated. What a fucking night, when you can't ever convince me Enjolras was not in love with Grantaire and THIS.
