About Drakon and Vorona

In my opinion, it isn't that Drakon doesn't love his daughter Vorona. Quite the opposite. He loves her too much, but it's the way he shows he cares about her that is impossible to understand. I won't go over the fact that Drakon and Vorona have very similar personalities, but Drakon has praised his daughter not on just one occasion, like while around Lingerin.

I believe Drakon, as the vice-boss of the organisation which deals weapons and own assassins, used to be one of those mercenaries too. And perhaps that way he met his wife, who he loved dearly. Who knows, maybe Drakon's wife was also his work partner, like Slon and Vorona are to each other now? Maybe that's how they fell for each other. Spending each of their moments together, at work and outside of it, and once they were significantly grown up, they decided to have a family? The fact that Drakon has a child means he didn't focus so much on work, he showed emotions normally, wanted to have a family. He loved. I suppose when Vorona was born, her parents were very happy people, but it changed quickly. The past never forgets, so I believe that Vorona's mother died at the hands of her old enemies, who located her after so many years.

And that's why Drakon didn't want Vorona to enter the organisation, even though he knew how talented she was and how much she could do. When Vorona attacked the enemy organisation, Drakon slapped her instead of thanking her for helping. Why? Because he was afraid she could die, having such enemies.

Drakon hid in his shell after Vorona's mother died, he focused on work so he wouldn't think about the loss of his loved one. He stopped showing emotions around Vorona, even though he had them and loved her a lot, because he was afraid that if he lost her, his heart wouldn't be able to stand it.
