It just occurred to me that Ekko vs Viktor in Arcane is the same scene as Arya vs the Night King in Game of Thrones, but done correctly. They are so similar in almost every single way, but the former understood how to make it work in a way the latter completely failed at.

The comparison is so striking that I'm not only shocked I didn't think about it sooner (and wouldn't be surprised if I'm really late to the party on it), but also am wondering if it was literally a direct point of inspiration for the Arcane writers.
