Maria could see him practically undressing her with his eyes. She grinned, rolling her eyes as he stood next to her. “Well, you know me. I’m far from boring and innocent, darling,” she smirked, shimmying her shoulders slightly as she spoke. She sighed, peering through the window. “Uh, I don’t know. If these people just fucking hurried their fat asses up and moved, we’d be in by now,” she muttered angrily. She hoped he wouldn’t mind that she swore like a sailor. She’d obviously ruined her classy image now.
Daniel smirked at her. "Classy and not afraid to throw out a couple of swear words. Nice" he nodded looking at the queue infront of them both. He didn't want to wait outside in the cold much longer. Surely there was a way of speeding things up. He grabbed her hand and pushed through all the crowd. he ignored their disgusted face and led her inside. "There. much better"
||start of an interesting friendship||
Maria had spent the day doing what she normally did every Sunday; getting over the terrible hangover she got from wild Saturday nights. But she didn’t want to sit around and do nothing. She’d had enough of hearing her mom complain about the mess she left around, and her dad complain about the outfits she chose to wear. She rolled her eyes as she walked up the stairs to get changed, hearing her mother call out something stupid to her about not staying out too late. She walked up to her closet, sighing as her gaze raked over all of her clothes. She decided on a short black dress that had straps crossing over the back of it, and black heels. She pulled on the outfit before running her brush through her dark hair, letting it hang loose down her back. She quickly applied some more eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss before grabbing her purse and skipping out the door.
When she pulled up outside the Grill, she groaned as she saw it was packed with people. She knew she wouldn’t have to wait to get a drink, due to the fact she could easily use her looks to attract the attention of the bartender. She climbed out of her car and strolled up, waiting outside for the crowd of people to move inside. Before she could go in, she saw a familiar male run towards her. Daniel, the attractive male she had talked to earlier. At least she’d have good; correction, perfect, company for the night. “Hey!” She called out as she waved him over, smiling cheekily.
Daniel couldn't take his eyes off her. Her outfit definitely set her apart from all the other females. She was definitely different and definitely his type. "It's a pleasure to meet you here. I thought I was going to be stuck with boring, innocent girls for the night." he smiled warmly at her. He checked the window to look inside and noticed how busy it was. He figured it must be a popular spot. The only spot. "How long do you think we're going to wait out here?" he looked back at her.

Daniel sat around his home driving himself crazy. He's not used to this. Being stuck inside. He really didn't want to associate himself with those average, boring people he came across in school today. There was one, though. Maria Hernandez if he remembered correctly. She was interesting. A female version of him. Almost. She was extremely beautiful. Her arrogance also made her even more attractive. He liked when women embraced their beauty. Nothing turned him off more when they fished for compliments. It's pathetic. He also remembered her mentioning a grill of some kind in the local area. Maybe he'd meet her there? Hopeful, Daniel got out from his slump and dressed himself up. He wasn't sure how to dress for such a place. It wasn't exactly somewhere he visited regularly. He decided to go as casual as possible. Black pants and a white dress shirt, with his signature scarf of course. He sprayed himself with cologne before heading out the door. His driver was off duty tonight so his only option was to walk. His aunt said it was only a few blocks away. It took him awhile to find the place since he wasn't too familiar with the area. As he approached the grill, he noticed a familiar face just outside. It was her. He couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. He didn't want to spend the night surrounded with unbearable company.
Good afternoon.
Pleasure to meet you, Daniel. Katherine Pierce.
Pleasure is all mine. Is this place really that boring?
Good afternoon.
Surely I didn’t miss anything because nothing ever happens here.
Well would a new face make it interesting? I'm Daniel Hayward.

Olivia shook his hand, gripping it gently. ''Olivia, Olivia James.'' She smiled letting go of his hand and crossing her arms over her chest loosely. She looked at him up and down, he was wearing black trousers and a white shirt, definitely not from round here. ''So posh boy, where did you come from?'' She asked him mockingly, a grin appearing on her face.
Daniel watched as she eyed him. He was used to this reaction. He had many like it back at home. He couldn't help but smirk at her words. "Manhattan, the classy side." he spoke softly looking at her. Her body language was strange but she did have a beautiful smile. Even if it was mocking him. "Olivia is a very pretty name" he grinned as he fixed his hair. He quickly glanced to see her full attire. Jeans? Really? It was strange for him to see a female dress in such a fashion. His ex girlfriend practically lived in her Prada dressed. "Are you new here, too?"
I miss Manhattan already.
Why are there so many new people?
Possibility? You sound unsure. There’s definitely fun when I’m around, darling.
Well for a moment I was worried even someone like you couldn't make a place like this enjoyable but now I have no doubts on that.
Why are there so many new people?
So where do I sign up for this?
You’re looking at her.
I approve. I thought there was no hope for this town but after meeting you maybe there's a possibility of fun.

Olivia had finally got a daylight ring from a witch she was familiar with who lived in Virginia. She couldn't let anyone get too suspicious from her excuse of 'sun spots' which is why she wouldn't go out in the sunlight. But she couldn't tell her family about her, she hadn't even told herself. She said her goodbye's to Jacob and left the house and made her way to the high school. It seemed pretty normal, somewhere she could make a statement.
She walked past the people in the halls, all of them seemed pretty much the same. No cliques like any normal high school had, but Mystic Falls wasn't any normal town to begin with. She arrived at her locker and opened it putting in the things she didn't need and lightly sprayed herself with perfume. She closed it and noticed a brunette boy stood at a locker a few down from hers. He looked out of place, more formal than casual, and more handsome than the others. She turned and smiled at him.
As she turned to face him, he took in her scent. It was a familiar smell. One of Chanel's finest. Not expensive but not cheap either. It reminded him of home. His mother used to have a similar perfume. What's with the women around him choosing this brand? He returned her smile with a nod. She seemed different, though. Not like the others. Perhaps like him? Only time would tell. He thought it would be rude not to introduce himself. "I'm Daniel. Daniel Hayward" he spoke firmly and held out his hand for a handshake. He observed her body language carefully, trying to figure her out before she even opened her mouth. Daniel was quite a judgemental person. He could already tell that this girl in front of him wasn't exactly the rich type. She didn't seem too poor either. He also knew that she didn't seem very human. Still, he was curious about her. The only reason he felt the need to be polite.
Why are there so many new people?
Oh, I’m sure you could have. Well, I’m pretty sure what I do for fun, isn’t what most other people do. But it mainly consists of partying, alcohol and sex.
So where do I sign up for this?
Hi everyone.
A few hours, so you’re not the only newbie!
Oh, there are a couple of new faces lately it seems. Good to know we are on the same page then. Have you met anyone who I should avoid?
Hi everyone.
You too Daniel. So, are you a newbie then?
Yeah, I am. How long have you been here then?
||meeting for the first time||
Daniel entered the unfamiliar halls of Mystic Falls high school. It wasn't exactly what he was used to. Back at home he was used to all the glitz and glamour of his own high school. Sudden regret of being kicked out had shadowed over him. He observed all the faces. There's no way he was going to remember half of these people. They were too averagely dressed. Clearly none of these people had ever been in a limo before, let alone own one. Maybe he was being too flashy by allowing his driver to take him there. What was he thinking? He really didn't care. He liked to be noticed. He liked to flash his money at every chance he got. He approached the school receptionist who handed him his schedule and everything else he needed. A locker key? Really? Has it come down to this? He never even used books back at his old place. It was full of high tech technology and the idea of a chalk board was simply laughable. I guess he'll have to get used to this. If he could even do that. It was definitely a notch down in the economy scale from him. From first class to peasant class. He snorted to himself as he approached his locker. A beautiful blonde was standing by who had caught his interest straight away.
Why are there so many new people?
Well if I changed it from great to fantastic, beautiful friends would that be more appropriate?
Fantastic, beautiful, sexy, attractive friends.
Couldn't have said it better myself. What do you do around here for fun then?
Hi everyone.
I’ve never seen you before so I guess not! I’m Summer.
Well nice to meet you Summer. It's a pleasure.
