An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
When Daniel Molloy got diagnosed with Parkinson’s, he didn’t take it well. An overdose under his daughters’ watch, and here he is, stuck in the care home Haven Crest, condemned to rot here for his remaining days. It’s been a month since his internment (or ‘hospitalization’, as his daughters would rather put it), and Daniel can feel himself turning crazy out of boredom. Proving to be a difficult patient, he’s been assigned a private care worker. A certain Rashid. (AU where Daniel was never there to receive the tapes and go to Dubai. Armand comes to investigate and ends up infiltrating Daniel’s care home)
Here's chapter 11 of The Windmills of Your Mind. I didn't expect to write it so soon, but I couldn't stop thinking about it yesterday and I knew I needed to write it immediately.
Hope you'll enjoy it!
