Anddd my new beauty :D  Finally got some pictures.  It’s a hybrid:  A 2007 Fender American Standard Jazz bass in I believe it is called Charcoal Frost Metallic finish (or Gunmetal Blue).  Very hard to find, I’ve always had an affinity for it and when seeing this one with a gorgeous ‘62 RI tort pickguard I had to jump.

I dropped the neck and added a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz bass neck.  It is probably the most perfect combination ever and it plays well without at setup at this point.  I also had a heavy chrome thumbrest that I promptly installed.  I’d like to put some chrome covers on it as well.
