I wanna talk about trends. Trendy things are complicated purchases for me. I currently thrift too much to be trendy. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good September issue and cracking it open to see something I've never seen before or even a old trend making it's way back into this season. But there's still something really empowering to me about buying a black and blue over-sized Hawaiian button up from the thrift store that my sister begs me not to buy. I get it home and mix it with high waisted jeans and my fuschia velvet stilettos and meet a friend for a late dinner. I feel like "Most Danielle" on nights like this. •• I like making my own trends. •• Life is way too short (&so are summer trends) for me to grab something full priced in the store that's gonna be old in 6 months. Do what's "Most YOU"!
