jimmy:  you look great, welcome back!

dani: oh, thank you so much! you’re also looking quite well. and of course i’m glad to be back!

jimmy:  let’s just talk about you now, how are things?

dani: things are... going! same as always, just working hard. nothing’s too different since you last saw me, i’m not a very exciting person jimmy.

jimmy:  that all sounds good, anyway, let’s see what else… the holidays are coming up, have any plans? any plans for the holidays?

dani: i’ll actually be throwing a cute little white elephant party! at my house, yes. most people are visiting relatives or friends for the holidays but... since i wasn’t really planning on doing that you know i figured for anyone who stays here, they have a place to go. there’ll be a feast and presents! it’ll be a fun time.

jimmy: and now… i mean i’m pretty sure we all know what we came to hear right? [audience cheers] greekcraft! is there anything you can tell us about the upcoming season?

dani: oh, jimmy. of course not! i mean to be fair, only a couple episodes have completely been finalized at this point. filming comes first, editing and processing after! so to tell you, even i don’t really know. [giggles]

jimmy: well now, tell us what exactly your purpose is on set. kind of a super short… day-in-the-life thing. [audience laughs]

dani: oh...god. okay, well, i guess to start i need large dosages of coffee. usually i have a team of maybe 2-3 more people, not including the tech people, but most of the production work i pile on myself. basically, i have my workspace, computers and equipment galore, and... i get at it! it’s a bit difficult to explain in all honesty.

jimmy: and does claire…you know. does she ever get the guy? that’s what we all wanna know!

dani: to tell you the truth, jimmy, that’s what i’m rooting for. [winks]

jimmy:  alright, well let’s go back to you. how did you… get to the place you are today? i’m sure there’s some people out there with the same dreams, could they achieve the same?

dani: well, we won’t go into a long autobiography, but to those who dream of being in this position, you can absolutely do it! just keep creating, keep imagining, and make sure it’s really something you love doing, the best jobs are ones formed from hobbies. keep designing. the rest will fall into place!

jimmy:  we’ve noticed online that security isn’t very tight around the set these days, isn’t that kind of a risk?

dani: that’s not really my department or concern but i’m sure they’ll address it soon.

jimmy: and how is… you know. you know who. give us a little update?

dani: that won’t be necessary.

jimmy:  well thank you for coming out tonight! and everyone don’t forget to catch greekcraft at 8/7 central on wednesday.

dani: bye everyone! there’ll also be a marathon the day of!

dear diary* 1/10/17

it’s been a long time coming, but i don’t know what to do. i’m a control-obsessed person who’s finally out of control. and what the hell am i supposed to be doing during this suspension? it’s already been a few days and--not to be pretentious--i can literally feel purpose being drained out of me. i’m sure that after time,  ratings will show the studios that they’ve made a mistake here. everybody keeps saying that it’s unfair that i was involved in the repercussion, but i think it’s unfair that it involved haden at all !! i mean, my window might tell you otherwise, but i simply don’t care. it’s samson who should’ve gotten consequence, for starting it all in the first place !! he should’ve stayed home. 

my e-mails have even dwindled from 10 per hour to 5. i can feel the end coming, this marks it. i haven’t been sleeping, concealer will only hide that truth for so long. why bother, my house is still messy anyways. no matter how much i clean it there always seems to be more. perfection is an ideal meant to torture the ambitious. i’d rather think about spotty counters however, because any thought to haden... or the party... just ends in me forgetting how to breathe properly.

rosarie had been confused the whole day on set, bummed she missed the night befores events. walking outside before, she saw a familiar face and sat beside her. “hey dani.” rosarie smiled and turned her knees towards her. “you look great today. much better than me.” she sighed, eyeing her leggings, nike running shoes and a black v-neck.

danielle shook her head, pairing her humbleness with a small smile. looking up, rosarie still seemed to have looked stunning as ever in simple athletic-wear. dani had to admin she’d always been a bit jealous of the girl’s effortless beauty. “thank you,” she rolled her eyes. “how have you been?”

honestly, he hadn’t slept much last night. he waited for dani to fall asleep before getting to work on cleaning the mess he’d made out of her home. cleaning up the glass and replacing the empty window space with cardboard, he’d left a check for a new one before leaving to feed neville. the last interaction they’d had was a series of texts that weren’t necessarily civil. but to be fair, nothing about the situation was civil. he was going to fix it all at the meeting they were supposed to have with doug, but it was canceled before he had the chance. in fact, when he saw the bulletin, haden was going to doug’s office to protest, but security wouldn’t let him through. on his way out to the open parking lot, he eyed dani outside of stage three. he debated just walking past, avoiding a conversation he knew that neither of them would want to have, but he couldn’t do that. they were going to talk sooner or later. 

“have you eaten today?”

danielle reluctantly glanced above to the figure that appeared before her, already knowing he was on his way over to her and hoped silently that he would just walk past. for some reason, she couldn’t bring herself to look him in the eye. does she blame him? she couldn’t. maybe she simply had a soft spot for troubled people, but she couldn’t find any blame to put on him, although circumstance and logic would tell otherwise. “have you?”
