A statistical analysis of Dan vs Phil series 1

I was wondering what impact All or Nothing had on the results of series 1 of  Dan vs Phil. So I made this chart:

NB: During some episodes where the scores are tied before the final round, they sometimes refer to this as AON. However, I have disregarded these and only counted those where the result is final but one of them has proposed an AON.

So, what does this show?

11 of the 36 games had an AON

Phil won 18-17 (with 1 tie), but Dan would have won 21-15 without AON

Although AON is often considered a Phil thing, Dan proposed almost 3 times as many

Dan lost 4 of his wins on AON (3 to Phil, 1 to a draw)

Of the 8 times that Dan proposed an AON, he only went on to win 2 of them

Dan proposed an AON 5 times after he won, but Phil never did

Dan seems to be happy to let Phil win

i recently made a gc and i was surprised how many actually applied to be a part of one. unfortunately not everyone could get in and it made me sad because there were so many amazing people that deserved to be chosen. that’s how i got the idea to start a friend matchmaking ”service”!

how everything works:
