Dear meat eaters, not everyone can be a meat eater

First of all, not everyone can afford to buy meat. Where I’m from a can of beans is 0.59€. Ground meat 2.29€ for 450g. So for 1€ I can get 580 calories from meat, or 773 calories from beans. 1 gram of protein from meat for 0.025€, or from beans for 0.018€.

I don’t have a lot of free time so a can of beans is also a lot more practical.

True, because of our healthcare system I don’t have to worry as much about getting sick, but not everyone’s so lucky! Although I guess in case of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, infections, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease and other diseases linked to meat consumption, it might not matter.

And I’m a pretty selfish and lazy person so I can’t help but try to avoid dealing with dead oceans, draughts, water pollution, etc - you know, all that shit that’s gonna get us to Mad Max: Fury Road.

Also, not everyone can force themselves to kill someone when they don’t have to.
