My tribute to Kentaro Miura and his magnum opus, BERSERK. Words cannot form to express how influential this series and Miura’s work has been since my childhood. Rest in peace, master--and finally Guts, you may sleep.

A digi-painting I just finished of one of my fav Marvel characters.
“RESTORATION” - Painting for my Boba Fett series, post Sarlacc survival.
“Indigestion.” Painting for my Boba Fett series I’m doing.
Mickey Devouring His Dog - Popped Culture
Was sent this today. Thanks Tumblr, you sexy people you.
Over the course of 2016 I'm going to build a tiny series based off what I think could be a fun Boba Fett story, accompanied with art. While the chances of me ever designing or contributing to the upcoming stand-alone Fett film may be slim, this is purely based off my passion for this beloved character, his image, and the history (or lack thereof) surrounding him. To me, a Fett movie should be modeled like a revenge-Western film. Where Fett is an anti-hero, doing something good not for himself, but for someone pure and relatable to his own life.
Oh and Disney: I'd fight through a Sarlaac to work on whatever movie this is and/or graphic novel as long as it included Mr.Fett. Childhood bucket-list dream of mine.
Part 4: Then I spend hours and hours rendering every bit. No photos or textures are used. Just shaping and refining until it looks crisp as hell! Hope you enjoyed!
Part 3: Here in still building up the face and now tongue. Eventually I'll get ADD and have to work on other bits. This is where I begin rendering! The fun part!!
Part 2: Then I lay my base colors down! I start with one foundation and then slowly work my way through it.
You may have seen this painting floating around over the years! Here's how I painted it! Step 1: the sketch! Line art all done in Photoshop with my cintiq tablet.
A crop from a Redemption painting I did! Really want to get back on this series. Probably after LMS book 2.
This makes me happy.
I love sharks and dinosaurs.
I'm drunk and wanted to post some weird art I did of Pluto. 🍌
The first LMS painting I ever did, 2008. Owe this piece a lot. It's built out a life I'd never imagine having. I can't wait to share more of this universe with you Gabe followers. SO much to tell.
Hour speedie I just did to loosen up after work. Love this guy.
