We had a wonderful turnout for prompt submissions, but now it’s time to decide what prompts we’ll actually be using during Gladnoct week. Using the link above, go take our survey by selecting your favorite simple and structured prompts. You can select three (3) of each type. If we need to conduct a second round of voting we will. 

At the end of the time period the top 7 prompts from each category will be arranged so each day of the week has one simple and one structured prompt. Then we’ll release the finalized list!

Prompt voting will go from now until  11:59PM EST, August 16th, 2017. Each user can only vote once.

Gladnoct Week Now Accepting Prompt Submissions

Thank you for all of the support for Gladnoct week so far! Now that we’ve locked down some prizes, and more importantly some rules, let’s get prompt submissions underway!

Some important points of note:

Before submitting any prompts please review the rules! These rules are central to Gladnoct week running smoothly, so please adhere to them in all of your suggestions. 

Prompt suggestions will be taken until July 31st, 11:59pm EST. 

There are TWO ways to submit prompts! Please use whatever is easiest for you.

After the deadline has passed we will put all the prompts to vote, and anyone can vote on them!

We’ll be accepting 2 types of prompts.

Type 1 will be a single word or a simple idea. A good example of this would be ‘Size difference’ or ‘Beach’ or ‘Flowers’.

Type 2 will be a more structured and specific idea. A good example of this would be ‘Youtuber AU’ or ‘Gladio and Noctis get stuck on an island together’ or ‘Gladnoct enemies to lovers’. 

You can submit prompts for one or both types, and as many as you like! It is entirely up to you. NSFW prompts are also allowed. If you’re not interested in NSFW content, rest assured there will be plenty of SFW prompts, too!

The type of prompt that we would not like to see are highly detailed prompts listing exactly what will happen in the story. You can see many examples of these on the kink meme. Please keep such prompts to the kink meme. The prompts you submit for Gladnoct week should be one sentence or less.

There are also 2 ways to submit prompts!

Method 1 is to fill out our prompt submission form on Google forms. The form is very short and easy, and you do not have to have a google account or email to fill it out. Also, the form does not collect any information other than a timestamp and the prompts you’re submitting. You will remain totally anonymous with this method. This method is easier for us because prompt submissions will be compiled automatically into a list rather than us doing it manually. This can be filled out on mobile or a desktop computer.

Because tumblr doesn’t like external links, we’ll make another post right after this one with the link to the google forms survey.

Method 2 is sending us an ask on tumblr. All of you are likely familiar with this method, so it’s very easy! You can choose to remain on anon for this or ask with a public username. It’s entirely up to you.

The finalized prompt list will be available sometime in mid August. That will give everyone about 3 months to work on fics/drawings/cosplays/gifsets/playlists or whatever else you would like to submit! You can then start posting works as per the prompts on November 26th.

Again, prompt suggestions will be taken until July 31st, 11:59pm EST.
