Well we officially have a hole in the ground for our foundation. Happy 1/2 Birthday precious P!! I cannot believe she is already 6 months old! She is soo full of personality and loves talking (and sometimes screaming) at me. The weeks seem to be flying by the busier I get between work and building a home life has been crazy... it’s so unfair that this teeny baby is already over 5 months old. Penelope Harper is 5 months old today!! 🍾Well I made it through my first actual week back to work! I am not going to lie, the schedule is rough with baby, but we are figuring it out. 🤱🏼I ended up having to nurse her on at least half of the meetings I had, but thankfully video is not required 🙌🏼 I don’t think it ended up being any harder than I had expected, but I think it’ll get better! It didn’t help that she got her 4 month vaccinations on Wednesday which made her fussy for the next day and a half. 😭 Today I am just running a few errands with my girls in this cute comfy MTV tee. Happy 4 Months to this beautiful baby girl! I’m only slightly obsessed with her. Now only if I could get my other obsession to take pictures anymore. (Daphnie is burnt out) She has promised me a shoot soon with her and sister so I need to plan that ASAP. It’s completely unfair how fast this is flying by. She’s getting so big and learning so many new things so quickly. It’s amazing to see, and I’m soo proud - like I made that babe and my body is still providing all of her nutrition. Snow Days all around here in STL today! P was not impressed by the snow and really didn’t care for the cold. Daphnie on the other hand got in lots of sledding (her snow clothes are all in storage, but we thankfully had her hunting bibs on hand!) Being👏🏼a👏🏼mom👏🏼is👏🏼hard👏🏼work👏🏼! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Working moms, stay at home moms, work from home moms...we ALL have our struggles. I’ve been all three of the above and I’m here to say that none of them are a walk in the park. Every stage in your kids lives is a new and sometimes difficult challenge that you pray you can overcome before the next challenge arises. Hang in there mama! Our sweet P is ✨3 months old✨! She is the happiest baby ever and loves smiling, usually just in the morning - I struggled getting a smile when I was snapping these earlier - even big sister couldn't get a smile out of her. (and she LOVES her big sister) 💕 She's starting to be a bit more vocal and has started studying her hands to figure out how to work those things. She won't take a pacifier and even though I've been trying to transition to bottle feeding, she pretty much refuses. I LOVE all of the faces that she makes, she can work those 'brows just as well as The Rock. Still soaking in every cuddle - I return to work at the end of the month and I'm not sure I'm ready. 😭 . . ✨ 2020 was one of my favorite years yet!
