A Big And Little Situation || Mariana & Daphne
Mari hadn’t been able to put her finger on it while she though, but she could have sworn that she had done something to alienate her big; or to, at the very least, tick her off. As it was Mari knew that her group of friends was incredibly slim, even with being in a sorority, and the very last thing she wanted to do at this point was upset what little friends she did have. So when she got the vibe that her Big was angry about something that might have to do with her she knew that she had to do something to fix it. Hence the dinner she was making.
She had spent the last couple of hours getting everything she thought her Big would like and cooking what ended up being the means for a four course meal. Okay, so Mari was nervous. So nervous that when she heard the knock on the door she actually jumped. She managed to burn her wrist on the oven a bit when she did so, causing her to hiss when she pulled away. She wrapped a towel around the burn, on the only good wrist she had, and then went to open the door; carefully running her hand with her cast through her hair. “Hey..”
Daphne stood at the door giving her little a generous yet rehearsed smile before walking into her space. The delicate smell of the food that Mari was making filled her nose nicely and quickly made her stomach growl. A nice meal would surely relieve some of the tension between the two of them. "It smells really good in here, I hope you didn't go to extreme lengths trying to make me something to eat, because In-N-Out is right up the street." Daphne smiled at Mari once more, and it was surprisingly random and not forced. All she had to do was calm down, and try to open up to Mari about what was seriously bothering her. "I really appreciate this, by the way. You and I don't hang out enough and I've been totally slipping on my responsibilities as your big." She fixed her bright yellow blouse and placed her purse on the couch next to her. Darting her eyes around Mari's intricate apartment, she turned her body back toward her little and focused her eyes on the cast that she wore. "Oh wow, so it is true. Gale told me, but I thought that she might have been exaggerating. How'd that happen?"

D: Where do I even begin? By the time I finish this text, it'll be tomorrow evening. I care about you, a lot actually. When you left that time when we were kids I was convinced that I'd never see you again, so bumping into you here was like fate. I like you, Wesley. It's weird to admit, but you know me better than I know myself sometimes. I trust you, and you make me happy. I guess what I'm trying to say is, is that I would love the chance to explore these feelings with you. If it isn't too late.

D: Right. I guess things don't change. A hiccup is taking it lightly. I honestly did not want to talk to you for a few days.

A Big And Little Situation || Mariana & Daphne
Nothing seemed to be looking up for Daphne. Wesley had gotten out of the hospital and he was going to be fine. So, naturally, the blonde had hoped that he'd want to spend a day or two with her, but instead he decided to go out with her little. A long thirty minutes of convincing herself that she wasn't crazy didn't seem to work, because before she knew it, her eyes were glued to both Wesley's and Mariana's Instagram accounts to see if they had posted any new pictures that could potentially set her off. The shirtless pictures, the sexual puns, it all became crystal clear to her within a matter of minutes. It infuriated Daphne. At first, all she wanted to do was to verbally tear Wesley and Mariana into bite size pieces and go about her business. Her feelings for Wesley were inconceivable, and she didn't want to have a big issue with her little.
Mariana had become a friend to Daphne, and she couldn't be mad at her when she didn't even know what was going on. Accepting Mari's invitation to talk, Daphne drove up to the Villa Apartments and parked her car on the street across from the entrance. Before getting out, she sat there and thought about the possible ways this visit could end. More than anything, Daphne wanted her nerves to just calm down. There was no need to be angry or push Mari away. She wanted this to go smoothly and was curious if Mariana wanted to talk about the same things that she wanted to. She finally made her way inside and up to Mari's door. Daphne fixed her blouse and untangled a few of her curls that rested on her shoulder. After knocking a few times she stood back and looked up and down the halls waiting for her Mari to open the door.
@Mix_Mistress_Graham: I try not to lie, at the very least. It was fun to let go. Though, I made sure I didn’t have too many drinks…you should come by, even with the cast I’m still able to cook, I’ll make us something and we can talk. I have a feeling we need to…

How am I turning this back on you? How? By stating the truth? What, so going out when I’m single, not committed to anyone mind you, is wrong? I don’t see how the hell that’s fair! Why am I bringing it up? Maybe because I can when it proves my point? Well, you sure had a way of showing it. If you wanted to go with me so bad, it wouldn’t have been so complicated. I waited long enough I’d say. How much longer was I supposed to wait anyways? I could say the same about you, Daphodil! You only know what I let you see or- or told you about! What I want? For you not to throw a fit and make me feel like shit about having a good time last night! I shouldn’t feel guilty about that! I don’t need to feel guilty for it! [;His head whips around to follow the blonde’s gaze, eyes narrowing.] Yeah what she said. Go on! Can’t you see we’re having a civilized conversation here! [;His eyes fall to his feet and he lets out a sigh, arms dropping as he points to the door.] I’m not doing anything. Just go if you want. No point in arguing anymore, right?
You still don't understand it, and I guess you never will. I don't care that you went out. It's the fact that you slept with Mariana, after you knew she was my little. You didn't just find out two seconds ago that I knew her. And if you know me as well you think you do, then you would've known how I feel about you. It's insane how much I think about you. I know this feeling, it's worse than you could ever imagine. You're trying to make it seem like I'm focusing on only myself, but I'm not. I do have your best interest at heart, Wesley. I'm incapable of being loved. Reality has proved that to me time and time again. I don't deserve it so I push it away whenever someone tries because I'm scared it'll leave me. [Her voice began to shake while she tried to gather her words. Daphne fought hard to keep her tears from forming.] I'm just... I'm gonna go.
