The Mystery Killer Strikes Again|| The Death of a Blue Haired Angel
Darcy ran as fast as she could in her five inch heels through the think woods. She stumbled a few times hearing the man getting closer to her. She burst through the tree line and darted for the cabin that rested quietly in the middle of a small field. She crashed through the door panting as streams of tears poured down her face. She didn't understand who or what was after her, but she didn't want to find out. Darcy decided to kick off her boots in case she needed to run again.
Darcy stumbled up the stairs now balling making it hard to see clearly. All she could think of was one person. Andrew Burns. Throwing herself into one of the upstairs bedrooms she shut the door and propped one of the velvet chairs against the doorknob making it almost impossible to get in. Brushing the water from her eyes she pulled out her phone and sent a text to Andy. She knew she couldn't talk unless she wanted to be heard. She scooted into the closet and shut the door. She was confused and scared of what was going to happen to her.
After informing Andy on most of the situation she heard the front door slam shut. She held her breath not wanting to cry loud enough for him to hear. She didn't know what to do. She felt useless just as she always felt as a human, but that was who Darcy saw herself as- useless. The next thing she heard were steps leading up to the bedroom door. She decided to be brave and pull out her phone one more time sending Andy one last message. I love you.
She wanted to call for her mother. She wanted someone to save her, but she knew this was her time. Taking a deep breath she calmed herself down. She was not useless. She was strong and brave and would face this head on. Using the closet handle to prop herself up she walked from the closet as she heard the doorknob rattling. Suddenly it was all quiet until a loud repeated banging came from the other side of the girl. Darcy bent over and just cupped her mouth knowing this was going to hurt. When the banging stopped she slowly turned around. She stared into the eyes of her killer with a straight comfortable face. She said her final goodbye to the world she didn't want to depart from.
