A New World || Darcy and Sif
Sif smiled as she watched Darcy start another pot of coffee for her. She was grateful that someone was around to help with these things. She was not accustomed to Midgard customs. “I appreciate your help Darcy. I would not mind you teaching me how to do these things myself. I know you’re not always going to be here when I need it, especially as I don’t know how long I will be here.”
Sitting down at the table, Sif continued looking around the area. It was all so new to her, but she found herself missing Asgard every second. Her friends and family were there and she wanted to be back with them, even if she was enjoying the company of Darcy.
"Well what exactly would you like to discuss? Would you like me to tell you about being an Asgardian warrior? Or perhaps life on Asgard in general. Thor tells me that you and the Lady Jane have been studying since Thor first visited you on Earth. Unless there is something else you would like to discuss" she said happily.
Darcy smirked and shrugged. "All of it. I think it's pretty interesting." she said.
It was clear that if the other woman was even accustom to speaking of her feelings, it wasn't something she was comfortable sharing with Darcy, and she understood that.
"I mean, being a female warrior is pretty bad ass." she replied, placing the cup of coffee down in front of her. "You'll have no problem learning all of this. It's easy." she waved her dismissively.
Going to sit back down at the table, Darcy pulled out anther chair next to her, motioning for Sif to sit down as well. Even if it wasn't going to be Thor talk, Darcy really was interested in hearing about Asgard.
Jane took a moment to sip her coffee before she lifted a shoulder in a shrug. "I figured we could go to the mall, do a little shopping. Is that good with you? It's cold out so a jacket would probably be a smart wardrobe choice."
She smiled down at the kitty, picking it up and scratching it behind the ear. "Hey little fuzz."
Darcy nodded, smiling as she watched Jane interact with Mittens. "Sounds good. I'll be right back." she said, walking up stairs to her bedroom.
Pulling out a long sleeved black t-shirt, she sighed, looking around for accessories. She wasn't a high masterpiece girl, but she wasn't going to the mall dressed as a hobo either. Finally decide ding on a green scarf, grey hat, and black jacket, she puts on some jeans, slips into the shirt and walks back down the stairs putting on the extras.
"Okay, dude. I'm ready!" she called, hopping down to stand in front of Jane. "Are we getting food while were out too?"

Sif continued to look around at all the monitors. “We do not have things like this on Asgard, but we are very advanced. I suppose what we have now you will have in years to come. I however, do not deal with such matters. I am a warrior, a protector of Asgard. That is my duty.”
Contemplating the question, Sif wasn’t sure how to answer. Much to her confusion, Thor loved Jane, and even though she would always harbor feelings for her prince and future king, she knew she did not stand a chance. “I know he wants to stay longer this time, that or take her back with us. But he can not act of his own will, he must do as the Allfather commands. That is why I am here after all, because Odin asked it of me.”
"I can not tell you what Thor’s plans will be, as I do not know. But what I do know is that I would like another cup of this coffee if you please."
Darcy's eyes widened as she mentioned Thor taking Jane with him back to Asgard. As much as she wanted her friend to be happy, she needed her there, and that was something that would have to be discussed.
Her thoughts were pulled in a different direction though, as Sif stated that she wanted another cup of coffee, and Darcy simply smiled, giggled a little, and nodded, walking over to the pot and starting another brew.
"It shouldn't take too long to make more since the pot is already hot." she said, taking a deep breath and leaning up against the counter.
She could see it in the woman's eyes when she looked at, or even talked about Thor. It was something Darcy was good at... reading people. Noticing things that everyone else seemed to overlook. That was her talent. She could see the feelings that Sif had for the Asgardian prince, and it made her sad. Darcy knew, right now especially, how it felt to love someone you couldn't have.
"Hey... I know it isn't much, and I might be the last person you'd want to talk to, but... if you need someone to listen, I'm pretty chill these days. I don't have much going on, and I'm more than willing to hang out." she offered her a soft smile. There was more to this girl than the tough exterior she let show.
