Azazel: it’s purple, corset built in and strapless. I’m dressing kinda like Megara from hercules. She’s a goddess and a badass. I think it suits me haha. :)
Azazel: what are you dressing as?
Matt: Sounds fitting. Matt: I’ll probably just wear a casual suit. Foggy, however, will more than likely go all out. I should really prepare for the embarrassment.
Did mankind truly not deserve the help of the Gods? Then again, what was Ignis doing about it in the first place? Absolutely nothing. At least, for now the most he had accomplished was helping professors with whatever needs they had. It was more like community service than hero work. It seemed to him that the world had more than enough heroes to help. As he ventured through the pouring rain, he finally decided to flee to the nearest building. His jacket was drenched, which only left Ignis looking like he just came out the shower. “Sorry for intruding.” He said out loud, if there even was someone in the small building.
“This is the common-area, I don’t believe an apology is necessary.” Matt assured the young man. The rain smell was overwhelming and he felt a tinge of bad for him. Matt removed his jacket to hand over. “Here, dry off a bit. You’re going to catch a cold.”
Azazel: Yay for prom.
Azazel: I picked out a dress….
Matt: I’d ask to see it, but that would be pointless. Matt: Describe it to me.
“It certainly doesn’t hurt - and it prevents backsliding.”
“Keeps the people who lack patience at bay as well. Though, I do not think it is the best tool for making friends.”
“Is it? I usually think I’m confused at times. Well, at least lately.” She replied, chuckling a bit. “You’re right. Thing is, my future….is something that is a mystery to me. I’m an asgardian goddess. The goddess of chaos to be exact. I’ve always dreamed of one day ruling or being…. important.”
“A Goddess? That’s already a strong title, I believe. Have you any thought of what you want to rule over, exactly? Another realm, perhaps? A team?” Matt tried to narrow the decisions down.
Prom: Disney Edition
Rhodey will be dressing up as Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
Matt will be wearing the red suit loosely based off Mickey Mouse, with a mickey imprinted tie and mouse cufflinks.
“I’ve got certain expectations and goals to meet, so I’m a stubborn woman.” Her lips quirked into a tiny smile. “Thank you.”
“Stubbornness keeps the world going, I suppose.”
“A break, yes. The sheer number of calories in one of those? Not so much.”
“I’m a man of self-indulgence, with too many confessions about that. I am impressed by your control.”
Azazel chuckled. “Well, he must see something good in you despite that. Though, you don’t come off like that to me.” She replied. “It’s not a problem. Honestly, I don’t know…what I want or where I stand. Definitely not too much into law. Though it is curious.”
“Not knowing what you want or where you stand sounds perfect in a law student to me.” Matthew was sadly being serious. He had wandered about too much, unsure about his life while he was a law student. “You should put some thought into your future.”
THE YOUNGER WOMAN ALLOWED A NERVOUS GIGGLE to slip past her plush lips, thanking him genuinely. There was something very lucky &&. Perhaps gifted about the way she was able to almost always get away things. “I’m more of a cinnamon mocha kinda girl,” She retorts playfully. “Are you a pure coffee kinda guy or do you add cream &&. Sugar.”
“Cream and sugar are fine, but I prefer french vanilla,” Matt said, giving the other a grin at the playful tone she used. “Is there a shop near here? I don’t mind treating you to a mocha.”
Tommy already felt mortified that he’d managed to knock someone over, but when he saw the cane and the glasses he felt like an absolute monster. He helped the man to his feet, stumbling over his words like he lacked any form of intelligence. As he spoke, he did register a throbbing, raw pain on his arm that he actively ignored. “No, not at all. I should probably find a better place to work.”
“We all have our strange places to study. I used to like to do homework on the roof when I was in college,” Matt replied with a smile. “Don’t feel too bad, alright? Your heart rate is a little too fast for my liking.”
“Coffee would probably have been a better offer, but…no, thank you.”
“Are you sure? Everyone needs a break.”
“It’s not your fault. Just my mother’s. She’ll get what she’s going to get in due time.” The goddess replied. She couldn’t wait for that day to come. “Really? If it helps, you’re doing a great job. Least you’re not a stick in the mud like some.”
“My boyfriend would argue that I am a stick in the mud,” Matt argued playfully. He gave a chuckle and shake of his head. “I appreciate the kind words. Are you a law major or something similar?”
“Unless you are here to pay me for or rescue me from this mind-numbing task, go away.”
“I don’t believe I’m in charge of paying you, but I do have some donuts left if you’d like a distraction.”
wanda stretched her arms over her head as she continued her stance on her yoga mat before leaning down, hands on the mat, “care to join in? yoga is quite relaxing,” she mused with a small smile.
“I didn’t come here for that purpose, but I could go for some yoga,” Matt mused. He’d already wrapped his hands for his boxing session, but that could wait. He didn’t have any classes left for the day, so he had time. He crossed the room towards the young lady and grabbed a mat nearby, starting with a few stretches. “Do you do this often?”
“i am tired of some people judging others for binge watching shows on netflix. why should we feel guilty for slipping into our sweats, eat endless amounts of junk and put on netflix?” katherine hummed with a nod of her head, before smiling softly, “care to join in on the fun?”
“If you mistook my standing here as judging, I can promise you I wasn’t. I was just listening,” Matt claimed with a smile. “I’m a little late in the season, I suspect, but yes, I’d love to join. Is that popcorn?”
