End of the day, you dont have to disclose being ace to anyone but your romantic partner. It isn’t outwardly obvious like being same sex attracted or being transgender. Strangers on the street can’t clock you as ace and beat you up. It just doesn’t happen.

I always see aces claim things stated above have happened but when have you seen anything on the news about asexuals being murdered for being ace? Not getting a job? Not having their wedding cake made? Not recieving medical attention? I’ve searched everything I possibly can to find proof of these claims about corrective rape and such and nothing has been found. People are assholes, yes. People have treated asexuals like shit. But it’s not something that has to be said to anyone outside of a partner. It’s a choice to say it and it’s barely important to who you are. Gender and sexual identity play a much larger role in terms of your gender and the gender you’d date/fuck. I seen someone say that cis people could have gender dysphoria. That is totally wrong. You are cis when you feel no discomfort, distress, or disconnect from your biological sex (aka gender dysphoria). There are people with GD that chose not to transition at all and present as there sex. But they are not cis, since they have GD.

They also thought I was saying trans people can't have body dysmorphia. Which is also false. You can have both GD and BD.

Cis people can only have body dysmorphia.

Trans people have to have gender dysphoria (because that is what makes up trans), and they can also have body dysmorphia, but obviously not all trans people have BD.
