Do you think drummer Bart would be the one (or one of )writing the lyrics for the songs?

I personally think that he would be one of the lyricists, but he wouldn’t be the main one!

Im biased because I imagine the band being the core four of young justice, which means in my heart Tim is the main lyricist!

I think Barts main job would be making the beats and creating the base of songs. He’d have so many ideas, he’d always be playing new melodies and asking you to give your honest opinion.

Originally, he never wrote any lyrics. He honestly couldn’t understand how Tim could write such deep lyrics about things that moved everyone who heard. When he tried, nothing came to him so he gave up trying.

Then, you showed up. He’d see you in the crowd at shows, his eyes catch yours and his life changes. In his eyes, you shine, even in the crowd he can spot you from a mile away.

It takes a few shows, looking at you from being his drum set everytime he looks up, for him to finally find you after.

He’s stuttering over his words, a cute blush covering his freckled cheeks, asking for your number.

He goes home, he can’t stop thinking about you. He’s so happy seeing your texts, he stays up late just thinking about how you were genuinely enjoying his music.

Laying awake, the lyrics just come to him. It’s corny at first, he’s not used to writing, but eventually the words turn soft and yearning.

He puts a soft rock beat behind it, already writing a bass line. Its a song that puts all his yearning into sound, he wants you bad, his crush phase is strong.

When you finally get together, all he can do is write lyrics about how much he loves you, how you look in his arms, how his life has changed forever.

He’d be whipped lol, he’s the yearning bf that follows you around like a puppy. He’d play songs that stay private between the two of you, songs he wrote about just how much he loves you. He’d look up all shy and ask what you think.

If you kiss him quiet and he can’t think straight after, that’s between you two.

Tim hummed when you caressed his dark hair. No, it seemed more like a purr from a sleepy cat, nuzzling in your skin. 

“Let’s get up, sleepyhead.” You smiled when his left arm embraced you by your waist, making you get closer to him. “Five minutes.” He murmured against your hair and you swear you felt his lips extending in a smile. But you couldn’t even complain, just leaning into his embrace while your head fit perfectly in the safe space of the curve of his neck. 

“You smell like coffee.” Tim mumbled, opening his eyes when a streak of sunlight greeted him by the window. “And home.”

“That’s because our safehouse smells like coffee, dummy.” You looked at him, at the blue eyes that were looking back at you. Tim laughed, his free arm moving closer.

His right hand flew gently to your cheek, caressing the soft skin there before pulling you closer. 

“Tim, we have to…”

“Shh…” He whispered, still admiring your face even when he was almost sleeping again. “Can’t we stay like this till night, and then still stay like this when morning comes?” 

The warm feeling in your chest almost made your heart melt, almost, because you knew that this domestic life won't last long. 

“We have to get up.”

“We don’t have to work today.” You felt his fingers on your head, massaging slowly and taking all your worries away. “Honestly, we don’t have to work for some time.”

“Two weeks, Drake.”

“A lifetime.” You rolled your eyes, wanting to get up but being held now for a pair of legs that intertwined with yours. “Stay.” The position you two were now after Tim moved, your back against his bare chest, permitted you feeling his heartbeat on your spine. Fast, the opposite of his situation, beating as if he just drank the whole bottle of coffee. “I want you here.” He kissed the nape of your neck, not flirtatious, just there, showing you that he would stay there as long as you wanted him to, while holding you in his arms.

Your hand touching him was the sign that he needed, closing his eyes again, ready to sleep for a bit more with you by his side when he heard your voice.

You just hoped that day would never end.

Here to remind you guys of my never ending Drummer! Bart obsession that will never go away…

I had a thought, so he would have to spread out when playing. He’s have to sit with his legs spread and taking up as much space as he can, I think that energy would stay with him even when he’s not playing. He lights up the room, his energy is contagious, he just draws people in.

He’d manspread every time he sits too. It’s not in a cocky way though, he’s just used to taking up so much space, he commands the room even from his seat. He’s confident, he knows his worth, he’s not afraid to take up space. He’d just look up at you with relaxed eyes, put his hand around your waist, and pull you down to sit on his lap.

He’d like you sat on one of his legs, so you can curl up into his chest, putting your head on his shoulder as he rubs your hip. He’d just chat with the group like that, with you just sat on his thigh, like it’s no big deal. Like you belong there.

I also think he’d call you that when you’re being stupid lol. On that same note I think he’d call you sweet girl/my girl. He’d call you that when greeting you for sure. Also just when he’s admiring you. Do you know like the popular fic trope for bats that they crash through a civilian's window and you patch them up

Like imagine that but you got another guy with you that's also a superhero but it's their civilian Self and the two guys gotta pretend to not know each other (I mean it in a comedy way)

Okay so I imagine being at Tim’s apartment (not his boat house lokey not the vibe😖) and you’re just cuddling on the couch after a long day. He’s treating you so sweet and laughing softly at your jokes, and then someone just flies through his window.

I mean like violently gets thrown through his window and for a second they’re just lying on the ground in front of the couch in absolute silence. If it was Bart (because of course I had thoughts) you’d be at his apartment just cuddling when Kon just flys through the window. He’s on the ground bleeding, laying in the glass, but somehow making jokes already?

He’s about to tell Bart about how he was missed at patrol today (obviously because he wouldn’t have flown through a whole ass window if Bart was there) but then he look over and your sitting on the couch with wide eyes. Again, he’s like 🧍🏽‍♀️🧍🏽‍♀️

Poor Kon is so awkward lol, but he’d put on his Superboy persona and ask for help, unlike Jason. When patching him up you can’t help but wonder why Bart and Kon seem to be getting along so well, but you brush it off because they’re both just energetic people.

They’re joking around, shoving each other, but every once in a while they’ll just pause and stare at each other and then get serious again lol, trying not to make it too obvious.
