Ryo stared at the house. He had been gone for a long time, and he knew Didi would be worried. He opened the door and quietly closed it behind himself. He didn't know if she was home or not, but he didn't want to deal with her if she was.
But of course she heard the noise. And she came rushing towards the door, only to stop when she laid eyes on Ryo. Didi stayed quiet for a few moments before sniffling softly, tears instantly starting to form in the corners of her eyes. “R-Ryo! Y-You’re okay, a-and you came h-home!” She squeaked, running towards her friend and burying her face into his chest. “I-I thought you left f-for good…”
Ryo soon put on a different shirt, and changed pants as well. He could tell she was outside the door, but didn’t want to deal with her right now. He had things he had to do. He doubted she would understand anyways. No, Ryo had to do this on his own. He had to prove he could be a dragon, that he wasn’t a wuss. But, the problem was to figure out how.
Didi plopped herself down in front of his door, refusing to budge and in the perfect position to cling to his leg the second he left the room. She didn’t know what was making her Ryo so angry but she’d get to the bottom of it! So she sat, quietly listening to the rustle of clothing behind the door and letting out a soft sigh of irritation.
Good thing Ryo's room had a window. Bad thing Ryo's room was on the second floor. Great. With Ryo unable to transform, he needed to find a way out without coming into contact with Didi. But how the fuck would he do that? He let out a sigh, getting even more frustrated. If only his master wasn't so freakin' nosy.
