Thinking about Mack's stick in Will's stick collection. I wonder how it ended up there. Did Mack give it to him? "Hey Smitty, I know you collect sticks and thought maybe you wanted one of mine? How about this promotional Team Canada stick I was given ahead of the Olympics? No, I don't need it as a keepsake from my first Olympics. I want you to have it." Or maybe he gave it to him as a joke, like haha take this Bruce Springsteen and Will just doubled down and said bet and placed it front and center in his collection.

Okay I MIGHT be crazy but when I just started watching the sharks back in November I could’ve sworn Mack and Will posted a picture (almost the same picture) and literally just mentioned each other in the picture but it didn’t have them in it. It was just the same picture. If I’m correct is that not crazy, that’s like a hard launch, what were they doing in a field together. It was months ago and maybe I’m hallucinating maybe you know what I’m talking about though hopefully

I was saying that about ppl who will listen to multiple interviews and read articles saying over and over that Mack will be a good captain and still argue against it bcus it doesn’t fit their narrative. I'm soooooo fucking tired of some people in this fandom acting like Mack wouldn't be a good captain. He already IS the sharks captain whether they like it or not. He has been acting like their captain since the start of the 2025-26 season! And all of his teammates (including Will!) have said Mack is their leader. Warso was just saying this week that Mack has all the leadership qualities needed in a captain. At this point I wonder if so called "fans" are being willfully obtuse because for some reason they don't want to see Mack as captain.

I’m so confused to what Mack’s “great leadership qualities” are lol. He just seems to flirt with his teammate on the bench and at practice pretending anyone from getting anything done or have little meltdowns or be yelling lol.

Kindly asking, do you watch hockey anon? Genuine question because this is kinda baffling to me. Those “meltdowns” are what captains do when refs are being fricken ridiculous. You can search up any captain in history of the nhl and there would be the same thing he does. Captains and alternate captains are responsible for going up to the refs when they are confused about why a penalty that was made, they’ll explain it from their side, say it was bullshit, stick up for teammates, or themselves it’s just what they do. Mack gets mad, just like plenty of other captains and alternate captains because sometimes refs can be complete idiots. Well more than sometimes 😭 He is also extremely passionate about what he does which once again, leadership qualities. It’s also pretty easy for the whole team to think of him as a captain already when he beat the record for points in a season at 19. Leading by example. He also very rarely refers to his wins individually. It’s his whole team or nothing. He’s talked well about his other teammates in media, saying how much they contribute and he gives examples. He hates losing, and people listen to him like he already is the captain. It’s pretty hard to look at him with 115 points and say he’s not a leader of the team 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
