Perhaps it's time to crash a party
Crashing parties is good for friendships, didn’t you know that?
Oh really? I think I might remember reading something like that in my travel sized friendship guide.
So the question is, who's party are we crashing?
Perhaps it's time to crash a party
I’ll join you Ms Violet
Marvellous. What a pleasant surprise, Mr Landon.
Perhaps it's time to crash a party
I suppose it's finally time to come out the house...
You make it sound like you’ve been there hundred years.
Maybe i have. You never know.
I suppose it's finally time to come out the house...
Oh hey, Violet, haven’t seen you in awhile.. Umm, I guess I just needed a break from like ‘A’ and after getting kidnapped and everything.
I guess I've been a bit M.I.A too, I guess.. And by that I mean not coming out of the house.
Oh, about that, how is the recovery going?
I’ve realized that disappearing acts seem to be what I’m best at.
And why did you disappear?
The only good thing about hitting rock bottom is that you can't sink lower than that
Thank you for the welcome. We should throw a party at good ol’ rock bottom.
You know I'm always up for a party.
The only good thing about hitting rock bottom is that you can't sink lower than that
Yes I have. It looks like I will be staying here for a long time.
Welcome to the club.
The only good thing about hitting rock bottom is that you can't sink lower than that
Hm, true that. Have you hit rock bottom?
Marilyn kept her eyes on the ground as she let Violet lead her downstairs and outside. She didn’t want to see the looks on other people’s faces when they saw her. She knew how she probably looked and she was ashamed. She kept hold of Violet’s warm hand, maybe a little to tightly the whole way to the taxi. Her chest ached with panic. How could she go on after this? Now that someone knew how weak she was? She sat down in the back seat and flinched a little as Violet spoke. Why was she so jumpy? “It’s..it’s fine..I..” she trailed off as her eyes watered again. “I’m..I’m sorry” she mumbled and relaxed into the seat. “Thank you” she mumbled incoherently as her eye lids felt heavier and heavier.
She forced herself to open her eyes and looked over at the blonde. “I messed it all up…I’m sorry I..I got some money though” she croaked out, her voice shaky and weak as she pulled out some money from her jacket.
Violet opened her eyes when Marilyn started apologizing again. What was she apologizing for? Money for what? But she wasn't gonna ask any of those questions out loud. She knew Marilyn's mind was a mess at that moment. She'd been there before. The difference was she was completely alone when she broke down. No one cared enough to be there. So she was gonna do what no one did for her for Marilyn. "It's okay. And I don't mean to be cocky or anything but I made a lot of cash tonight. Pretty sure I can pay for the Taxi." She said with a soft chuckle before continuing. "Consider it your first pay check" She said as she paid the Taxi driver and got out of the car. She was joking around with her because she wanted her to know that she wasn't mad.
She took a hold of Marilyn's hand as soon as they were out of the Taxi. She wasn't even sure if it was for comforting herself or the brunette. She let out a sigh of relief once they were inside. Her flat was a total mess but it was still comforting.
It was funny, but after years of fiercely rejecting any sort of help or comfort, right in this moment, Violets hand rubbing her back her her comforting words in her ear felt amazing. She felt safe which was something she hadn’t felt in a really long time. She sniffled and buried her face against her chest as she forced herself to stop crying. She felt so bad for Violet having to put up with her break down. “I want to go home” she mumbled, leaning back and wiping the tears from her face. “Please..p-please take me home” she said in a weak, broken voice as she slid her hand over hers, squeezing it.
She wasn’t sure she’d ever been that scared in her life which was saying a lot. But her guard had come down, crashed down actually. And now there was nothing up to protect herself. She was weak.
Violet's heart broke all over again when she saw Marilyn's face. It was like she was looking at someone entirely different. She looked so small and broken. The complete opposite of what she'd seen from her before. Confident and mysterious. She took a deep breath and gave her a soft smile and nod before getting up, pulling Marilyn up with her. It was her turn to wrap the leather jacket around the girl. She couldn't believe this just had happened. She gave Marilyn another reassuring smile before intertwining her fingers with hers and walking back downstairs, glaring at anyone who tried to come even remotely close to them to buy drugs.
There was no way she was gonna drive a bike after she'd been shaken up that way. She'd end up killing both of the. The good thing about these parties was that everyone got wasted so there were taxis already parked outside. She didn't hesitate to give the Taxi driver her own address instead of Marilyn's. She didn't even look over to see what her reaction because she wasn't gonna argue about this. The shock was finally waring off and she was just starting to feel the pain on the palm of her hands. "Oh, shit. Sorry." She pulled her hand away when she realized that her hand had been bleeding before. "Sorry, sorry. I didn't realize my hand was bleeding." She mumbled and shut her eyes.
The Informer can suck my dick
Preach.
Who is The Informer and why is it talking bullshit about me?
I don't know, this low life that gossips publicly. Pathetic liar.
Marilyn turned her head and looked down at the blonde as she offered her the leather jacket. Why did she even care if she was cold? She opened her mouth to decline but was cut of by a gasp leaving her lips as she was yanked down from the ledge, falling over onto the ground with Violet. It wasn’t until she’d hit the ground did she realize what she’d just been doing. She’d been so close to becoming exactly like her mother. And worst of all someone had seen her like that. Seen her weak. She couldn’t hold any of it in anymore. She’d been trying for so long that everything had built up. “I-I’m sorry” she mumbled and swallowed hard, her eyes burning with tears that she was trying her hardest not to let fall. “I’m so sorry” she whimpered out and burst into tears, unable to keep any of it in anymore.
Violet's heart was breaking for the girl and she had no idea why she was apologizing to her. The cool mysterious image she'd had when she was over at her house was gone and all it was left was a broken girl. She felt bad for Marilyn because really, Violet had no idea how to comfort people. She'd never been comforted before. She'd never seen it. She just had to work with what she had then. She re-adjusted her arms from the death grip she had on Marilyn, wrapping one around her waist and the other around her head, pulling her as close as she could. "Shh..It's okay..It's fine.."She whispered softly in the girls ear and started rubbing her back. She wasn't sure if she believed herself but that didn't matter.
