Who did this to you?
Lucia could not tell who it was who came in but she recoiled in fear. The bruises were hurting and all she really wanted was to go home or more importantly go back to the brotherhood
(Wasnât really sure which muse you wanted so i went with Lucia my Assassin creed oc)
(Thanks )
Seeing the girls reaction Iolar slowed her approach, âYou do not need to fear me. Iâm here to help. If I was here to kill you already would be deadâ. She offers her hand to help the woman up. It wasnât often that Iolar helped people but she felt generous today. âIâll help you homeâ
She took her hand and slowly got to her feet. â Thank you.â She replied weakly
âWhat is your name?â Iolar moved quickly to check the way for Templars. The master assassin really was not in the mood for fighting besides she already killed her quota for today. It was a dark cold night in the city. Nights like these remind her of how alone she is, maybe that is why she is being helpful. Sheâs hoping this all doesnât just blow up in her face. When the coast seemed clear. She turned back to the injured lady. Before she could answer the first question shadow asked another, â Which way is it?â
â Second left â she replied with a pained expression before she answered the first question âMy name is Lucia Ashwood.â
â Lucia Ashwood, I am glad to make your acquaintanceâ she bows a little to lighten the mood but her antics are pathetic and she instantly regrets it. âMy name is Iolar NĂ ScĂĄthanna, but you can just call me Shadowâ. Shadow walks over to the lady. Weighing her up. â Do I have permission to carry you? The streets are not safe at night so we have to leave them as soon as possible and you can rest easy at home. â
Lucia nodded as permission for shadow to pick her up but as soon as she mentioned home then she sighed softly.
â I dont really have anywhere to call homeâŠâ
â Oh I seeâ Shadowâs heart sank â I suppose you could rest at my house, get cleaned up and fed and you then are free to do as you please. But it is your choiceâ
Lucia sighed âI donât want to be a burden but thank you shadow.â She replied
â I swear you would not. I only live by myself and spend most of the time in my study. At least let me fix you or give you something for the painâ without an answer shadow already set off with the dam in here arms.
Lucia yelped as shadow moved as she felt like curling up due to the pain. âA - AlrightâŠâ she replied
â Iâm sorry, I really am. Itâs not farâ Shadow navigated the streets as quickly and steadily as possible until laying Lucia down on the couch in the front room. âYouâŠyou wait here. Ignore the mess and all the papers all over the place they are justâŠ. work relatedâ she runs off into the kitchen to see what she has in store.
Lucia just curled up before letting her tears escape. The poor girl has had enough.
Shadow could her the gentle sobbing of the girl in the next room. I reminded her of a daughter she never had. She came into the room with an array of ointments and pills. â Who did this to you?â She asked a bit sterner then before. Shadow was sick now and felt a personal urge to find who did this and punish them.
âseveral men did this. One of them made it worseâŠâ she replied letting her tears fall more.
âDid you get a good look at them?â Shadow questions further handing painkillers and a glass of water. â Here these should help.â
( sorry I am late I had to go training)
(Its cool)
Taking the water in her hands and the painkillers she replied âOne of them had a scar across his eye and another near his neck..â she spoke then she took the painkillers.
Shadow thought to herself searching the gallery of faces she knows. Lots of people with scars across there eyes and necks. Templars with scars across there eyes and neck? Oh she was jumping to conclusions.
â show me your bruises and Iâll put some ointment on it. It will make them go away faster. â She couldnât help but ask more. â Did they speak at all?â
â if they did i couldnt really hear them.â She replied before showing her the bruises. Some littered her arms and her shoulder and some littered her face.
â Im sorry that i couldnât be anymore helpâŠâ
âItâs ok. If you remember any other details it would help. Iâll see what I can do. But for now letâs just get you sorted out. Iâll light the fire and give you some supper and you can stay until you are healed fully. â Shadow forced a weak smile and started attending to her patient.
She smiled softly and closed her eyes. She refused to let any more of her emotions show.
â If you donât mind me saying, You look very well for a girl without a home. What do you for food?â Shadows curious nature is starting to come out now. She finished applying the cream. âyou should feel better soon.â Iâll put it on again in an hour or so"
â Iâd rather not sayâŠâ she replied bringing her kness up to her chest âThank youâŠâ
â I understand. Iâll go get supper ready. Thereâs sucker sweets in the tin in the fireplace. Feel free to look around and read the books on the shelves over there. Again I apologise for the mess I donât really ever have time to clean and I already know where everything is so it suits me. Right Iâll cook food.â Shadow left for the kitchen. Thoughts running through her head who were the men, what is she even doing and most importantly who is this woman.
Lucia never moved from her spot. Her hair covered her face and her pain. She curled up and stared at the fireplace.
It was obvious to Shadow the girl wasnât going to move but it was worth a try in giving her permission. Iolar couldnât wait for food she herself was starving she hadnât eaten in about a day too â Busy workingâ. She was used of it tho so it was not burden on her strength. Ah the aroma as the food cooked. She left it sizzle in the pan when she decided to go looking through her archives for people of interest in the area.
â Johnson⊠his name is JohnsonâŠâ she spoke shaking slightly.
â Johnson? You mean you know this man?â The name wrung a bell but after all the years the man with the name could of died 100 years ago.
â He almost killed me Shadow⊠Heâs his great great grandfather reincarnateâ She spoke âHe was one of the men who hurt meâŠâ
Shadow hastily rushed through the papers. âJohnson, Johnson, Sir William Johnsonâs reincarnation?â
She nodded âit wasnât his great great grandson standing there. It was himâŠâ
â Thatâs not possible. Are trying to tell the guys with him are Shay and Charles Lee as we are at it?â Shadow had to sit down. âIâm sorry I donât mean to sound angry itâs just Iâve dealt with them Iâve seen them dead. â
She shook her head â I-I donât knowâŠâ she spoke âone did speak with a weird accent.â
Shadow couldnât help but chuckle to herself â Shay back from the dead", she whispered to herself. Iolar held her face in her hands before quickly looking up. â The food is ready, if itâs not already burntâ She quickly went and got the food and placed it on two plates
Turning her body around she sighed âThank you shadow.â
Shadow couldnt hell but feel there is something more to this girl then meets the eye. âHow do you know about Johnson?â She inquired whole digging into her meal.
She sat for a moment with her partky eatrn food . âits a long story one i really do not want to divulge but to keep it short i have been around a lot and you pick up things.â
Shadow waited till she swallowed her food before speaking again. â I was just wonder. Iâm a person with a very curious nature, my apologies. Itâs just that few people really know who he is these days and what he did⊠a few select groups. Even fewer can recognise him by his appearance.â Shadow stared at the map of the city. Recognising all the points sheâs aware of. If it is true that Johnson and maybe Shay and Charles Lee, how did they just slip under her nose. She monitors every Templar event.
She smiled sadly. â The brotherhood were good at hiding me for a time. Keeping my movements secret until it was too late.â
Shadow turned her attention to the girl again, âThe Brotherhood you say? Just as well I found you then. Let me reintroduce myself, I am Grand Master Shadow of the Irish Brotherhood. Why do you need defending, friend?â
â Iâm special and when i say special i mean my gift is a curse. I can see things. doors as i call them and i can open them. Iâm known as a seeker and i am suppose to bring balance to the world.â
(Brb)
â What do you see when you open the doors?â Shadow was even more curious now. The closest thing she has come to with seeing things is eagle vision which she has and itâs pretty helpful but this was new.
(No worries)
â things people most of the time past events as such.â She replied
â Can you choose what you see as, can you choose to see a certain persons past. Or do you have no control over it?â Iolar asked before cleaning up the ware and tossing them in the sink before returning to her about this intriguing capability.
â Depends where they are or particularly when I am aroundâŠâ
â So you could see mine? Can you see the future?â Shadow was pushing it, she was as giddy as a child with a new toy. No mind completely disregarding the fact that there are three deadly Templars that died hundreds of years ago roaming the streets.
â Yeah pretty much. The templars wanted my skills when i refused they beat the shit out of me.â
âI like your courage but it could have got you killed. Why were you on your own in the first place?â Shadow is starting to piece together what had happened.
â I was working in the brothel until they attacked I got out on to the street before it was too late â She replied
â You are quite intelligent and a valuable asset. Maybe someday Iâll recruit you into the brotherhood but until then I have to make sure you disappear on the Templars spectrum and of course deal with these ghosts of Templars.â Shadow leant back into her chair and thinking deeply about the knowledge she has obtained.
â MaybeâŠâ she replied with a hiss as the pain from her bruises flaired again.
â A yes it is about that time. Here are some more painkillers and Iâll put some more ointment on, Then you should get some restâ Shadow gave a slight grin and refilled the glass of water.
â Alright.â She replied as she rubbed her neck four numbers being revealed on her arm
âWhat are those for?â Shadow asked before fully thinking it true. She was tired and couldnât really think straight. She handed Lucia the painkillers and water.
â Memories of where I made a difference to myself.â She replied before taking the painkillers
â Alright. The bedroom is the first room on the right up stairs if you want. Unless you want to sleep on the couch.â
â Iâll sleep on the couch im ok there.â
âIâll be in the study if you need me. I need to check a few things. â Just before walking out the she tossed a a blanket at Lucia. She proceeded to the study and sat at her desk and tried to figure out what has been happening. Working on the cork board and reading accounts.
Catching the blanket she smiled and then settled to sleep.
Shadow awoken with her face in a book and she jumped to her feet. Her first priority was Lucia. She ran to the room and she lay they on the couch sleeping. She sighed with relief.
Lucia awoke in fright â Morning shadowâŠâ
â I didnât mean to frighten you. I just wanted to see that you were okâ
â Im alright.â She replied with a chuckle âbetter than sleeping on the floor.â
Shadow gives a little smile before starting to prepare breakfast. â After breakfast I was thinking of going to visit the the Brotherhood embassy. You can stay here if you want but I would like you to come with me.â
â Any particular reason why?â She asked as she got up and grabbed her black hat.
âFirstly to report what you have told me about your attackers and secondly if what you say is true and the brotherhood is looking out for you. Then kind of should know you are alrightâ
She nodded though apprehensive. âAlright ill come with you.â
â Alright letâs go you can eat breakfast in the way itâs quite a walkâ Shadow fastened her robes.
( brb)
â okayâ she replied with a smile before placing her hat on her head as well as her two swords.
(Ok)
Exiting quickly out of the house into the hustle and bustle of the average morning in the city. Nothing looked suspicious. So she continued on her way.
Lucia followed though her entire body screamed caution. She stayed close to shadow until it caught her eye.
" Shadow I've found a door..." she spoke
Who did this to you?
Lucia could not tell who it was who came in but she recoiled in fear. The bruises were hurting and all she really wanted was to go home or more importantly go back to the brotherhood

"Alright ill come with you."
Iolar held her face in her hands before quickly looking up. â The food is ready, if itâs not already burntâ She quickly went and got the food and placed it on two plates

â If you donât mind me saying, You look very well for a girl without a home.
Lucia awoke in fright " Morning shadow..."
Iâll light the fire and give you some supper and you can stay until you are healed fully. â Shadow forced a weak smile and started attending to her patient.

â Im sorry that i couldnât be anymore helpâŠâ
" Memories of where I made a difference to myself." She replied before taking the painkillers
Some littered her arms and her shoulder and some littered her face.

" I was working in the brothel until they attacked I got out on to the street before it was too late " She replied
