Yandere Targ Cousins Valarr and Aerion not giving girlie a break is chef's kiss but imagine the overkill of we added Daeron in the mess where she thought he was the only decent one but turns out he is just like them
(Now I imagine a dark otome game based on them 😝)
Let's say the reader was just a normal person living her life when BAM! She gets hit by a truck and wakes up to discover she's been reincarnated into AKOTSK as the one and only daughter of Aerys Targaryen.
In her original world, AKOTSK was actually an otome game. The protagonist was none other than Kiera, and the reader's character was the villainess who eventually dies after taking her own life at the end of the story.
Now that Y/N has become the villainess, she notices something strange: above the heads of the three male leads—Valarr, Daeron, and Aerion—she can see black percentages.
At first, they're all at 0%. Naturally, she assumes they're hate meters and since she doesn't want to be hated and end up with the villainess ending, she does everything she can to keep those numbers low.
She spends time with them, helps them, goes on walks with them. With Daeron, she helps with his alcoholism after discovering, among Aerys's old scrolls, a potion that allows dreamless sleep so he no longer has to drink himself unconscious every night. With Valarr, she's his biggest supporter. Whenever he feels insecure about not being a good enough fighter, unworthy of his position, or overwhelmed by his responsibilities, she's always there. She takes him on picnics, cheers him up, and helps him through his bad moods. With Aerion, she constantly encourages him. She praises his training, tells him he's strong, and once, after looking at a tapestry of Rhaenyra and Syrax, she casually remarks that he actually looks like a dragon himself, that his features remind her of Syrax and he's elated by that compliment.
From the outside, they look like close friends, The problem?
The percentages keep rising. The more she befriends them, the higher the numbers get. Nothing she does lowers them and she's terrified.
As far as she knows, she's doing everything right, yet somehow they're all starting to "hate" her more and more.
Then Kiera arrives. Convinced the original storyline is about to begin, Y/N immediately befriends her. The two become incredibly close, practically inseparable.
Oddly enough, Kiera doesn't seem interested in any of the male leads at all.
Meanwhile, the percentages above their heads shoot up.
And Y/N is internally like:
Then one day she slips from her balcony, the fall doesn't kill her, but it leaves her in a coma and while unconscious, she regains memories.
Because this isn't her second life. It's her third.
Before she was reincarnated into the modern world, she had already lived as Aerys's daughter once before and suddenly everything comes back.
The percentages were never hate, they were obsession.
In that first life, the three princes hadn't hated her at all, they'd been obsessed with her.
They constantly invaded her privacy, crossed boundaries, and refused to let her have a life outside of them, they would visit her chambers every night and then force moontea down her throat in the morning to make sure nobody would suspect anything.
When Kiera arrived, Y/N wasn't truly a villain. If anything, she desperately tried to push Kiera toward them, hoping they would transfer their fixation onto her instead. It didn't work.
The more she tried, the worse things became and somewhere along the way, she and Kiera fell in love.
Kiera loved her back, and together, they planned to escape but they were caught.
Y/N was confined to her chambers, and the three men visited her there.
That's when they told her the plan.
Valarr would marry Kiera because he had to. Daeron would marry Y/N. They would all remain in the Red Keep where they could keep her close and once Kiera gave Valarr a son, they would no longer need her. Then they would have Y/N all to themselves.
Faced with that future, the original Y/N took her own life.
The story reset and now, after waking from her coma, all those memories return.
She finally understands what the percentages meant.
They're at 100% and she's completely trapped.
Then Daeron comes to visit her, the moment he walks into the room, she knows.
He's remembered everything this entire time.
"You remember now?" he asks.
Terrified, she nods and Daeron smiles.
"Good. Then you know what not to do." He gently brushes a strand of hair from her face. "If you try to leave again, we'll make her pay for it."
"All you have to do is be a good girl for us, Marry Valarr. Let your Kiera leave peacefully." And then, with a smile that makes her blood run cold:
"Maybe your life won't be as bad as you think, my love, we'll take care of you better this time, i told them not to rush you and let you come to us in your own terms"
