THE DARK CALL . . .
"What is the Dark Call? Many Christians are confused. They hear the dark call a strange sensation boiling beneath the skin. Your mind is wrapped in piety and fear of God yet you hear a Dark Satanic call to come into the night. To leave everything behind in search of a dark temple of sin and fornication. The call gives you a surge a taste of dark manna of Satanic Lust and fornication the sins of the flesh. The Dark call is experienced by the pious because Satan doesn't want Pagans or Heretics he wants you the children of God to come to her and lay in Sin. So that the Dark master can remake you in her perverted image. Do you dare to open the door and answer this dark call or sleep at night praying."
@evelynq69 sent me the above with the question: " What are your thoughts about this?"
I admit I experience a wicked smile reading the paragraph. What is that "dark satanic call to come into the night" where one takes the leap and gives in to her lusts and desires, our sinful wicked sexual fantasies. We give in and allow our mind to dwell on things sensual and sexual within us knowing they are proscribed, taboo, wicked yet we love doing so though we feel guilty because we do. What is "different" is the paragraph focuses on the xian, not the pagan and the xian woman's struggle with her personal lusts and desires, the dichotomy of being bad when we struggle to be good, which occurs more often if not all the time within ourselves. It's a "dare"? Another play on being a slut while you're a saint, the struggle to be good while you're being bad or want to be bad . . . sexually, sensually, whorishly bad. I see in this paragraph the paragraph's realization that we lust and desire while we want to be follow the xian moral code. That "hurts so good" situation that is impossible to deny because we are created as we are . . . to lust and desire. It's inherent. We are expected to avoid wicked thoughts (sin in thought as well as deed) but can't avoid doing so. So we "blame Satan" as that ourward voice calling out to us because we are supposed to be inherently morally good when the truth is sensual sexual arousal and desire which gives rise to sexual thoughts and fantasies are part and parcel of who we are . . . Recognizing the reality brings peace of mind when one realizes it's normal to do so.
However, xianity especially demands we seek "sinless perfection" where we feel guilty . . . are filled wiith angst and apprehension because doing so is impossible but we are told we can. How often do we find our mind filled with wicked sensual thoughts and desires while we're at church? Might it be the Dark Call is that personal challenge where we give in and see our inner sensual and sexual lusts and desires as normal rather than a form of dysfunction? My personal journey on the left hand path involved doing just that. Recognizing it's normal to fantasize, have wicked, even evil sensual and sexual thoughts and desires? What I think is one thing. What I elect to do is another.
My premise is that I am free to enjoy what I call "my real me" and how I do so can involve an infinite number of actions where I feel wicked or give myself over to my lusts and desires not with others but in other ways which includes how I choose to dress on occasion. I find I am asking myself "Do I see the Dark Lord calling me to be sensually wicked or am I called to admit I''m a slut at heart . . . a slut in my mind, etc. . . . . and the realization is I am free to think as I will to the point I indulge as I wish? I enjoy indulging in solo sex . . . jilling . . . . seeing doing so as a gift from the Creator. It isn't sin though the church and the revealed religions would have us believe it is.
Viewing the artwork accompanying the paragraph I admit there is that xian ideal where we wouldn't sin sensually in thought and deed when, again, my lusting and desiring, fantasizing and fucking, etc, in my mind occur all the time when I am in some way sensually triggered.
It's me acknowledging my real me and seeing me and my lusts and desires as okay. That's the Dark Call. It comes from within and not just without. The struggle is not to deny our lusts and desires but accept them as normal then decide how we act on them.
Think about it.
Much more can be shared. This is so off the cuff, typed as I sit on the porch step where I drew a pentagram in the sand with my toe and meditated before I responded. Hopefully this is helpful.
