Hei I kinda disappeared from here, I have been just a lurker ahah! Time to blow some dust away. I happened to do a long Stroud marathon in the last month, and since I can’t really go wild sharing stuff about my comic (must avoid spoilers, and my questionable sense of humor must stay tamed) had some post work fun borrowing Lockwood and co characters. Not Bartimeus. We don’t speak about Bart. It hurts too much-just shout up. Anyway, this is a little compilation. I’ll share later the sketches I did for my real work ;)

Here’s some Lucy sketches laying around. I’m currently trying to find a faster easier way to draw really fast and experimenting with line art again….it’s not going so well as you can see but I’m gonna keep pushing. I also wanna revisit cartoons again, I’ve been drawing way to realistic this past year and I kinda miss my old style :(

Sorry! Em and I are currently enrolled in college and fell away from L&C a while ago. It still holds a place in our hearts, but as far as this au goes? it’s archived. I hadn’t even logged in for ages. I’ll update the blog accordingly.

So if Dark!Lucy is actually Dark!Skully, what would a Dark!Lucy without Skully look like --please bring this AU back I love it--

I’m not sure about bringing this au back, but I spotted the question and yknow why not. I also haven’t looked at the books in a while (haven’t even read the last one oops, it’s been on my shelf for ages, Em has though, so she’d probably know better than me)But! If i had to take a stab in the dark (lol, get it?) Lucy without skully is... pretty similar to Lucy with skully. I don’t think he so much posesses her as he just... unlocks her inner turmoil. Lucy would still listen to the ghosts, she’d still eventually go mad. Especially with the living people so corrupted... it’d be easy to see how she’d slip and fall and advocate more for death than she does with life. She seemed more intimate with it than other agents, somehow. (again, I haven’t read TEG, so this is mostly speculation about the earlier three books) I can see that fascination with the other side spilling into her moral compass and... warping things in a way that bends to the spirits’ favor.
