It's that time of year again! The Original Mannequin Project, the party with a purpose!! And I'm one of this year's hand picked artists!! An art based event put on by Melrose & McQueen Salon. Every December artists gather to create amazing pieces out of mannequin heads that hairstylists can no longer get any use out of. As a party patron you have the chance to win a head by purchasing raffle tickets (As many as you want!). Don't be a sore loser either because even if you don't win a head you have a chance to win other prizes graciously donated by other sponsors of the event. All money raised at the event is then donated to Haven ATL and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We have some new more local oriented sponsors such as Adult Swim, Old Fourth Ward Distellery and Hampton and Hudson. We hand picked only 20 artists this year to stream line the event.
