Zosia having kids pre-hived could be a really interesting concept.
Let’s say that she’s a single mom (per show, loved one has already passed) with a kid or two. Let’s also say that they are younger kids (I’m thinking under 14yrs).
If/when Zosia gets dehived, obviously she’d want to find and save her kids and that would create an interesting dynamic for Carol. Because there was a time when she and Helen had planned to have kids, they had frozen Carol’s eggs to do so. Now that plan had obviously never happened, but some part of her must’ve wanted them at some point because as much as she loved Helen, I don’t think Carol would’ve frozen her eggs if she truly did not want kids (nor would Helen have made her).
So say they find Zosia’s kids and unhive them.
Zosia stays relatively close to Carol and Manusos in Albuquerque (living in Carol’s house?) because she wants to keep her kids safe and, begrudgingly, she trusts them not to let anything happen to her children if something were to go wrong.
Now imagine Carol reluctantly starts getting attached to the kids.
They love Carol, they think her house is so cool and she takes them to all the touristy spots and lets them sit in her office while she continues writing Wycaro and they notice that when she tries to be funny (and fails) it makes their mom chuckle in fond exasperation and she never treats them like they’re stupid or too young to understand things.
And then Carol starts to panic because she never got to have this with Helen and maybe they really should’ve tried harder to have a kid but then she would’ve been left to raise that kid alone without her wife and her emotions are all over the place because Zosia’s kids are perfect (she’ll never understand why her mom hated her as a child, she would move heaven and earth to make Zosia’s kids smile) and she’s growing to love them and she doesn’t know what the future will look like when the world goes back to normal and she doesn’t want to lose this blossoming family structure.
On Zosia’s side, she’s also emotional because she’s been raising her kids herself for a long time and she still misses her deceased partner but seeing Carol love her kids is amazingly overwhelming but she knows Carol and Helen never went/got through with having kids so she doesn’t think Carol will want them (and her) long term when the world is saved.
Of course there are other liberties at play regarding the direction of S2 and this is just a fun little what-if post. Also this would still work with Zosia just having 1 kid but I wrote it in plurals for fun.

Let my strong farm girl wear pretty dresses and be given the princess treatment while her pathetically in love athlete bulks up her biceps so she can carry her girlfriend over a puddle of water just so she doesn’t ruin her shoes.
Rewatching OUAT and I think they should’ve utilized the younger actresses for Regina and Emma a lot more than they did. Especially during Regina’s engagement/relationship to the King and the beginning of Emma’s relationship with Neal.
I understand using Lana and Jen (and it’s a “family” show so they probably didn’t want to dig too deep into it) and they did great but Regina was 17/18 when she got married to a man 3x her age and Emma was still 17 when she got pregnant with Henry. I think visually seeing teenage girls, children actually, in those scenarios would’ve brought more of a shock.

The reason for this post is because I had decided to actually sit down and watch the seasons all the way through instead of hopping around to my fav episodes so I hadn’t actually rewatched some the the storylines/visual choices since I myself was a teenager.
I don’t even think I clocked the implications of a child (honestly even if she was 18 I’m calling her a child despite the “legal” label because she’s still much too young) marrying a much older royal man because when I was 14/15 all I saw was Lana’s face. And because of the show’s ‘family’ premise they would never have been able to go into detail regarding how she actually would’ve been treated in that marriage (child bride, “he has no “male heir”, “consent” logistics, she’s stuck in that marriage for years completely isolated, etc).
Similar thing with Emma’s relationship/pregnancy storyline with Neal. Now I’m a bit fuzzy on his age timeline but I do know he’s quite a few years older than her and she’s 17 when she gets pregnant with Henry. She’s a literal child when they meet with no stability. But 14/15 year old me just saw Jen with glasses and a ponytail. If I had saw her child actress that was used in season 4, I might’ve clocked how young she really was because even though I was told how young she was, I didn’t fully grasp it.
Watching this show now through an adult perspective is bizarre and I mourn what this show could’ve pulled off if it wasn’t restricted for “family” copyright. Still entertaining though.
Listen, I can ship Emily with almost every woman she interacts with but her and Tara are really gripping me right now. I’m rewatching s12 & s13 and they have some buzzy moments.
My stepmom has been talking to my dad about Pluribus so much that he wants to watch it now. And he wants me to watch it with him in case he has questions and I genuinely don’t know how he’ll react to Carol. This is a man who doesn’t watch shows unless they have guns or violence in them and complains about “wokeness” when he thinks there’s too many women in a show/movie.
Ok update: he’s already pissing me off and we’re only on episode 3. He says Carol is way too pessimistic and is now mad at me that I don’t agree with him about it. I can hear him ranting to my stepmom upstairs about how I don’t listen/respect his opinions lol.
“It gives me you” is literally one of the gayest things I’ve ever heard uttered in television. The upside to the job that gave you your husband (RIP) and kids is your coworker of almost 2 decades?

Update: also gasped at the kiss but says that she was wondering why they have a strange amount of chemistry so she wasn’t entirely shocked by it. She’s CONVINCED that Zosia acts differently around Carol than The Others do and she’s thought this since her character introduction. Lowkey I think she’s rooting for them which I didn’t see coming but she hasn’t gotten to the finale yet so we’ll see.

Can I say something slightly controversial regarding Emily Prentiss’s writing in later seasons?
I feel like they have been morphing Emily to be more like Paget and I…don’t love it. I think I’ve noticed it more in cme but I don’t love what they’re doing with her personality. Obviously trauma and everything can factor changes within someone and I’m not qualified to speak on that but I miss parts of Emily that were so prominent in earlier seasons. Like her nerdy interests and random jokes and spy coolness.
I don’t know am I going crazy? I feel like I’m watching Paget slowly just starting to play herself with the writing they give her.
I’m very jwcc/jwct and yasammy pilled right now so here are random snippets or fic ideas/prompts that I’d write if I had time. (Also some are kind of suggestive but I’ll mark those ones)
The camp fam trying to attend each other’s high school graduation ceremonies. They are always the loudest cheers.
The camp fam finding out Sammy and Kenji got buried in an avalanche and almost developed hypothermia.
Sammy gets new neighbors after her old one was killed by the atrociraptors in CT. Said neighbors have a daughter around Sammy’s age and Yaz gets jealous over them bonding. (Bonus points if Yaz had to go back to Wyoming for a bit to deal with her island fiasco or finish school so she’s not physically there to keep an eye on the new neighbor. Reverse situation where now Yaz is the one always calling and texting Sammy to remind her how much she loves her).
Flashback before Brooklyn’s ‘death’ of the girls having a girls day and changing up their hair; Yaz’s bangs, Sammy’s pink lowlights, and Brooklyn’s purple/teal coloring.

After CC, Sammy gets really sick to the point of her parents getting her checked out and when the camp fam find out they all fly out to see her immediately. (Bonus points if it’s a similar situation to her poisoning and they all have ptsd over almost losing her, especially Yaz. She’s not leaving Sammy’s side until she’s back to 100%).
Darius gets bullied during a year in school and Kenji physically beats up one of the main antagonists when he finds out and gets suspended for 3 weeks since he’s an upperclassman at the time.
After being rescued in CC, Mrs. Fadoula refusing to let Yaz out of her sight except for school, severely limiting how often she can travel to see Sammy and the rest of the camp fam. Which starts to put a strain on Yaz and Sammy’s relationship until Yaz’s mom joins Yaz on a trip to visit Sammy in Texas and sees how happy her daughter is hanging around the ranch and animals with her girlfriend.
After rescued in CC, Brooklyn being immediately pushed in front of cameras and booked for several public appearances about her experience and she snaps.
Sammy getting pregnant and Yaz being the most overprotective wife/mom ever, even the camp fam get a side eye from her when they touch Sammy’s stomach.
Sammy confides in Mrs. Fadoula about her family after the events of CT. Mrs. Fadoula blows up at the Gutierrez’s over their treatment of Sammy during one of the farming rehabilitation events.
Gia gets invited to girls nights when she’s visiting the camp fam. Turns out she’s great/lucky at almost every card game they play and Yaz starts accusing her of cheating after losing for the 5th time.

Sammy takes Brooklyn shopping with her to help her pick out lingerie to wear for Yaz. She ends up getting a few black, red, and pink sets. She wears the black one for Yaz’s birthday and Yaz almost has a stroke seeing her in it.
In public Yaz normally sits on Sammy’s lap when there’s not enough seats but in private Yaz much prefers Sammy perched on her lap (or her fac-)
Yasammy have a frequent tendency to disappear on the others for roughly 30min when they go to clubs/bars. The camp fam has learned not to go look for them ever since Ben found them the 2nd time it happened and came back shaking his head in disgust/disbelief.
When the camp fam is all staying at Sammy’s ranch, they are all given strict rules to keep ‘activities’ inside their respective rooms and to put a sock on the door so others know not to disturb. (Ironically, Yaz forgets the rules the most since she’s used to it being just her and Sammy in the ranch house).
When overstimulated (in bed or other circumstances), Sammy slips into Spanish. It’s happened often enough that Yaz has picked up certain phrases.
That’s about it for right now, I might add more as I think of them.
