Copies of the same contract for them both to keep in case there were accusations or breaking of the rules of this settlement. The redhead sat down and opened up the binder and splayed out the two proposals. Pushing one towards, Kat.

Talyhian, gave a small smile and lowered his head respectfully, before taking his seat beside his sister. He wore a simple black suit with a white shirt. A few buttons were open at the top. He poured him and his sister a small glass of whiskey. Also, for Kat and, Alastor. “So, I am sure we can come to some settlement. An exchange to be exact. If we trade a body each then we have… A reason not clash as we would have someone who we hold dear on the opposite side. And a result of lashing out would put said body in harms way, which I don’t think neither side would want or do for that matter. You have my word and my sisters.”

Lotus, was running down the road looking at her watch half dressed. “Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!” She panted loudly and was navigating through the alley ways and such to get to the residence. Oh yeah. Zephyr, was sat in his office looking over to pile of items in front of him. He was thankful for the magic he had learned over the years to adapt with the loss of his sight. The items set out in from of him were a few books, clothes and some foods. Fresh food. It wasn’t for him. Zephyr, was the fallen god of death, he had no need to eat, so it was strange when he had to have food around. The god simply sighed and moved his hand in two slow motions. A large piece of fabric appeared under the items and wrapped them up, finishing them off with a small black bow. He gave a small smile and picked them up in his arms. Heading out into the hallway with an exhale. Zephyr stood a moment and looked in the direction of, Tristan’s room.

He slowly made his way over to his room and simply knocked on his door three times and wet his lips. “Tristan? I have food. Books and clothes if you wish to change? I… I know it is cold down here, so I made sure the clothing is made from a thick fabric. It should keep you warm… Maybe I can get some more wood for the fire?’ Oh this is hard. Though she had a blonde wig on and blue contacts. A glamour for her protection.

Elliott let out a sigh of relief, going to try and help him down the stairs, “Hey come on, I think she is making breakfast.” Casey shrugged him away, continuing on his own, “Hm..? It caused him to tense up, blinking surprised, “Oh my you are freezing! Your hands are like ice!” He exclaimed, turning his attention towards him again. I’m a sort of instinct, he took the other’s hands in his own, trying to warm them up for him. “Do you need this blanket instead..? If I wasn’t looking at you I’d think you put an ice cube on my neck.” He admitted, giving a small smile.

Although her closest advisors had urged against the meeting, Kat had found it much more beneficial to try and work a deal. She was tired of the fighting and the constant having to keep watch of the other family. It was enough having to stay under police radar, she didn’t need them worrying about more rivals on top of that. She stood up straight in her chair, dawning a black satin button up, tucked into a pair of high waisted khakis and a pair of simple black heeled loafers on her feet. Her most trusted colleagues around her. Scarlett on one side, wearing a brown halter top to expose her scaled wings behind her, accompanied by a pair of faux leather pants and black boots. On the other side stood Alex, wearing a fully black ensemble of pants, button up shirt and heels, the buttons open enough to reveal her chest and upper abs. Finally her brother Stefan stood behind her, wearing a white fur jacket and a dark pink pair of pants, simple black loafers on his feet, his chest completely bare under the fur. Sitting beside her was Alastor, who leaned back in his chair, his bare feet resting causally on the table. His outfit was much less chic than the others, wearing a simple white tank top and a pair of black pinstripe pants that seemed just a little too big on his thin hips, only being held up by the purple suspenders over his shoulders.

Kat shook her head, “Oh I don’t drink, sworn off of it years ago, Al, darling take mine.” She nudged the glass to the other quietly as she kept her eyes ahead on the others. When offered the whiskey, Alastor didn’t hesitate to gulp his glass down, seemingly not paying attention to the conversation. Kat nodded, “I see… We won’t meddle in each other’s affairs if we both have the other’s family…” Alex gave a small huff, “But then what if they hurt one of ours? How do we know that we can trust you at all?” She spoke, crossing her arms over her chest. Kat sighed, “Alex, calm down, I can handle this… If they hurt one of ours we have one of theirs in our possession. Works the same vise versa. So it keeps both of our sides from hurting the other’s.” She spoke calmly, but had a cool calm confidence to her. “I think this will be beneficial to the both of us. In our lines of work, blood is shed often, why cause more between us? So then… I will trade to you one of my most valuable underlings. Alastor.” And all at once her posse shouts exclamations of confusion, all but Alastor trying to convince her to change her minds. The fire demon had instead spit out his alcohol, coughing and trying catch his breath as he leaned forward to rest his head on the table. Kat rolled her eyes a moment, before putting a hand up in the air, causing the others to go quiet, looking towards her in shock. “Don’t question my choices, my mind is already made up. Now then, who will be joining my company?”

The house was mostly quiet, besides the soft pitter patter of cats roaming the residence. Some came up to Lotus, quietly watching the stranger work. Quick footsteps came down the stairs, as the burned brunette came into view. He paused a moment at the bottom of the stairs, taking a moment to figure out in his head why there was a random woman standing in his friend’s house. “Uh… Hello..? What are you…” he trailed off as he remembered what Casey had told him earlier. “Oh wait, you’re the new housekeeper lady right? Uh… Casey’s in the shower right now uh… He called me to help him because you weren’t here yet uh…”

Elliott walked into the kitchen, rubbing the back of his neck. “So uh… Guess I’ll give you a warning he’s probably gonna be in a really bad mood. His back is really bothering him, like he couldn’t get out of bed… Uh, just tread lightly? He leaned quite heavily on his cane, his teeth gritted as he took each step, trying to conceal his pain as much as possible.

Tristan sat quietly in his new room, his mind muddled with many thoughts as he tried to piece together everything that was happening. Last he remembered he had been bleeding out in his lover’s arms after being shot by some unseen assassin. Now suddenly he had woken up in a new place with a stranger, many years passed from this last memory. He was just somewhat overwhelmed from getting all of his senses and body functions back. The knock had caught him off guard a moment, instinctively flinching at the sound before remembering what it was. The kitsune moved to open the door, having been wrapped in a blanket rather than wear his own cold clothing at first. He leaned slightly on the frame, still trying to get used to using his limbs again.

Before speaking, he cleared his throat, trying to warm up his voice to speak after being silent for so long. “I… Thank you, Zephyr, sir… I appreciate everything you’re doing for me… Um… Clothes would be very nice… And I suppose I haven’t eaten in quite a while… Some water would be nice… My throat is a bit parched from… Well, you know…” He spoke quietly, holding the blanket close to his chest before shakily grabbing the bag that had been offed for him. “I will change uh… It might… It might take me a moment my body isn’t used to moving yet. I just sort of feel… Tired, I guess..? I’d hate to bother you but… I might need a bit of help… It’s a little difficult standing for long periods on my own.” He admitted, biting his lip awkwardly. “That might be too private of a request, I’m sorry, I understand if you don’t want to… I can try to figure it out myself.”

The demon stood outside the diner, looking in casually as he scanned the people in the crowd. It wasn’t hard before he had found his Target. The man sitting at the counter talking to the waitress. The hit was simple, some man who wanted him dead after his wife had cheated on him with this target. This was really all he knew, some messy marital issues that somehow lead to murder. Dantanian was not complaining of course, kept food on the table and that’s all that mattered. Of course this one was different than normal, while the option to request what kind of death the target experienced was there, most did not act on it. However all he had said was he wanted for this man to die a slow and painful death and the hands of the other, implying some kind of brutal killing. Some sick fuck if he ever saw one, wanted this guy to be tortured and killed by an assassin. Well all that mattered was he was going to get paid.

He waited long enough and now was the time to strike. He just needed to lure him out to get him away from all of these eyes. He was quiet walking in the establishment, wearing a black turtleneck sweater with matching colored pants and suit jacket, covering his concealed arms attached at his shoulders. Dark walked up to the counter, getting the attention of the waitress the target was talking to. “Excuse me, miss?” He spoke just loud enough and stood just close enough to the man that he would be able to hear his conversation. “There was a hit and run outside, a red pickup truck parked farther back in the lot if I am not mistaken.” The description was one that could be said about the target’s vehicle. The man beside him had seemed to notice the conversation before he had stepped outside to check on his car. Dark waited a moment to not cause suspicion before walking out calmly to follow him.

"Yeah, I'd miss you too much if you really died on me." She says as without thinking she kissed the back of his neck. Trying to be gentle with them, she picked out the twigs and leaves that were in them.

Looking them over she frowns as he goes onto a negative tangent. Pulling on a few feathers to get him to cry out, she never liked it when he went down that path. "Stop that. Scott, its not sad. You have mussels in your wings. If you don't use them, of course they get weaker. I mean do you really think new borns are able to fly off the bat? It takes time to build those mussels. Rolling her eyes she slapped his shoulder. "You ass." She chuckles as she looks down at him as he lays down. By now the sun was starting to set. They'd have maybe a little over an hour before it got dark. Moving some of her black hair out of her face, she stayed in her human form for most of the time.
