@outsiders fans who write imagines that romanize or glorify mental illnesses you know who you are
IF WE WANT THE REWARDS OF BEING LOVED WE MUST SUBMIT TO THE MORTIFYING ORDEAL OF BEING KNOWN!!!!
i live for older girls who take care of you and give you advice on weird things w/o judging bc they’ve experienced it and are just so warm. my only goal in life is to be that for others one day
can you fucking shut up and let people write how they want lmao no one asked for your opinion
lmao I don’t need people to ask my opinion if something is fucked up imma say it
@ anon, if you’re writing horrible shit gloryfying abuse and drugs and rape or support that type of writing, then you are the hateful person. You HATE victims of abuse, you HATE addicts trying to recover, and you HATE rape victims. You don’t have to say it outright, we can all tell just by this fucking message. Fiction =/= reality but it sure can impact reality. This fandom is mostly composed of impressionable young girls, and if y’all fuckers keep writing abusive, drug filled rape stories then they gonna think that shit is fine!! And it’s not!! But they’ll want a “dreamy” guy like Dallas Winston who everyone seems to paint as abusive but with the right girl he can be fixed. So they gonna find an abusive POS irl and stick around for him to fix. But guess what!!! 99% of the time? That isn’t the fucking case!!!
TL;DR - FUck you anon
Look Anon, I’m sure you’re young. You don’t understand and you want to enjoy the content because you believe it’s all good in fiction, right? Well it’s not. It’s disgusting and it couldn’t have been said better.
If you think abuse should make the start of a love story, you have a very twisted idea of love. A better take would be “Imagine Soda helping you through the trauma of your abuse and while you recover, you fall in love” or “Imagine Johnny comforting you from the abuse you suffered”
Not where the abuse is the whole reason why they even fell in love with you. If you’re abused, nobody is going to automatically fall in love with you because if they did, that’d be pity and that’s gross. My Ex knew me through my abuse, but never fell in love with me because of it, and even broke up with me during it. I knew someone who dated someone out of pity for abuse and it wasn’t a good relationship. And you want to know why? The pity kept them from leaving when they realized they didn’t want commitment and didn’t really love that person. This is why abuse motivated love stories are bad.
Many young people from larger fandoms had exposed their abuse to others in hopes of finding love and even manipulating others into loving them. That imagine was not healthy and I hope no one truly fantasizes about being saved from abuse through love.
Abuse from any person shouldn’t be glorified and the source of love. It is not a good stance and otherwise incredibly unhealthy
I’m really happy people are addressing this. I think this is super prevalent because most of this fandom is 12-15 and has never had a relationship and does not know what a healthy relationship is like.

i think now that im 18 im just too old for this fandom. theirs some mature people in this fandom but too many people with their head up their ass. no hate towards the people who love the outsiders and post/write fan fics... but if you glorify abuse that’s fucked up yo
Couldn’t have said it better.
🗣🗣 stop romanizing abuse, rape, and eating disorders. also, it’s not hate when i call you out on it. it’s time to be more critical about what you write and give to your mostly 12-15 year old audience
your such a fucking hateful person
I consider myself critical. I think that’s important thing to be in this society. You’re the one sending hate mail. Just saying.
The Outsiders but they’re all just different versions of Trisha Paytas.

dallas hid his feelings so well people doubt he ever felt anything but of course he did. there might of been very little of that scared kid in dallas after a point because by the time he made something of himself in Tulsa he was mean and cold and could handle himself just fine without help. 16 and he died that way, just another hood taken down before they even had a chance. i imagine he would’ve died sooner rather than later if it hadn’t been for the gang and of course johnny. no one will ever know what truly caught dallas’s interest in johnny and maybe dallas couldn’t figure it out either. whatever it was johnny would never know it before his death and most likely would never have the chance to realize how much he meant to dallas. nobody really knows why dallas got himself shot that night and i’m sure not even ponyboy fully understands it. he’ll go bed late thinking about it and it won’t be for years to come that he could start to put things together but only barely will he understand why. maybe nobody is meant to know, not even dallas who would still ignore all his feelings to the moment he robbed the store to when he was shot and died before his body even hit the dirty, cold, hard floor (a reflection of himself to some degree) that late night. i don’t think dallas ever truly knew what he wanted from life but the moment Johnny Cade died in front of him he truly knew he wanted to be dead because there was nothing left worth living for and as it goes Dallas Winston always got what he wanted. Both kids died without having chance and only ever had glimpses that not everything in life was bad. for johnny it was a sunset behind the church he hid in from the cops. for dallas it johnny himself. and for both the small family they shared with the gang (and Ms. & Ms. C before their deaths), and for the boys left alive will be forever shaken by these events. and as fate decided these boys would not experience much good things in their short lives before their deaths and looking at the two it’s hard say either was truly an untimely death.
Why does everyone wanna get rid of Dally`s unibrow it`s A Part Of Him™
Because he could plan his elaborate suicide in 2.5 seconds but couldn’t pluck his damn brows
Can you do a gang imagine where the boys find out you are being abused by your father after hiding it for over a year
Sure :) I hope this is what you were asking for!!

The boyshad noticed you had been quieter this past month. They thought immediately itwas not like you; usually you were the one always pulling jokes or laughing atTwo-Bit’s.
Ponyboywas the first to notice. He was like a brother to you; it was not hard for himto notice. He noticed the first day your smile was not as genuine as it usuallywas. That was Sunday when you came over for lunch. You used to eat the typicalcheese sandwiches with coke and sit on the porch.
You knewSoda had asked Pony about you. You could tell by the way his warm eyes lookedinto yours, like they were giving you one big hug. Soda seemed to always knowwhat was going on inside your head, it almost frightened you. You did not wantanyone to know your thoughts.
You weresurprised the most when Dally noticed. He seemed to never take notice of youuntil now. You started hardly showing up at the Curtis’ anymore. It worriedDally. He hardly slept. It was when he asked you if you were okay the followingFriday that you were the most shocked.
“Why?”
Dallas pickedthe perfect time to ask you this. Not only had everybody else left the livingroom so you had no means to defend yourself, but you were not having a good day.
“Youhardly ever talk to any of us anymore,” he began, heated, “you come and go inan instant, Two-Bit and Steve said they never sees you at school …”
“Wouldn’tactually be worried about somebody, Dally?” you teased, trying to change thesubject.
“Maybe Iam,” he said coldly. “Why does that matter?”
“What’sgoing on?” said Ponyboy as he came through the front door, the football underhis arm.
“Nothing,”you snapped, instantly regretting it when you saw the look Pony gave you.
“I wasonly asking the question we’ve all been wondering,” said Dally, sitting on thearm of one of the chairs.
It wasthen Johnny that came through the door, looking straight at you. Johnny was theonly one out of the gang to know what was happening to you. It was not that youtold him, he just understood the signs better. He realised how you flinchedwhen people spoke to loud, how you became silent for hours after somebody yelledat you, the bruises on your skin … most importantly, he noticed you hardly everstood as proud as you used to.
One lookand you knew Johnny realised. You hated it.
“[Y/N],we are here to support you,” said Pony, taking a step towards you. “We’re agang, we look out for each other.”
“What’sthis about a gang?” Steve smirked as the other four of the boys came storming backinto the living room, noticing the others were taking an extra-long time.
“What isthis?” you started to feel insecure, attacked. “Some interrogation? What do youall want, huh? Me to spill my guts?”
“Listen,[Y/N] –” Soda began before he was interrupted by Darry.
“We justwant to keep you safe.”
Youstepped back as Darry came towards you. You looked into all of their eyes, allof them observing every breath you took.
Suddenly, you could not stop it. You fell into the armchair Dally was resting on,covering your face as your shoulders began to shake. You were caving in. Your facefelt red and hot under your fingers. You felt embarrassed; you hated crying infront of people.
Youheard Johnny say your name before a group of footsteps came towards your couch, shadows leaning over you. Your heartbeat throbbed. You swore the rest of themcould hear it.
“I’msorry, guys,” you suddenly blurted out. You slowly pulled your hands away fromyour face, the living room blurry before you wiped your eyes. “I’m sorry I didn’tsay anything all this time. I was worried what you might think.”
“What doyou mean?” said Two-Bit, on his knees to be level with you.
“Whatare those?” Dally suddenly took your arm, exposing it to the rest of the boys. Thesudden contact made you jump as he pulled your sleeve up. There was a fresh, purple bruise wrapped around your wrist in the shape of a handprint. He alsopointed to another bruise a little higher.
You lookedup at the gang. You quickly pulled your arm back, shoving the sleeve down.
“[Y/N],this is serious,” said Steve.
“You don’thave to tell us everything,” Soda reminded you, placing a hand on your knee ashe knelt beside Two-Bit. “Only if you feel comfortable, okay ?”
You bityour fingernails as you eyed Johnny. You had never seen him so frustratedbefore, so tense. His knuckles clenched into round fists, his eyes glaring outthe window towards your house.
“Please, just … stop talking to me like I’m a baby! Like, if you hit me too hard I’llbreak!”
You didnot mean to say it. But you did. All seven of them stood, bewildered.
“I’mgoing to kill your old man,” Darry suddenly said after a terrible silence.
“Please, guys, please don’t,” you whimpered when a few of them nodded in agreement.
“He’shurting you!” Soda said. “You deserve so much better. No one deserves to betreated like that.”
“Please, don’t say anything. I don’t want to be put in a home. You understand right?Pony?”
Ponyboystared back at you, his eyes wide. He suddenly gulped when he looked down athis feet, gently nodding his head.
“Promiseme you won’t say anything,” you stared at all of them seriously, getting up offyour chair. “Please!”
Therewas another horrible silence. Your eyes began to water again as your thoughtswondered; they seemed to always do that, at the best of times.
“Fine,”Dally was the first one to give in. “But, I cannot guarantee I won’t kill yourfather when I get the chance.”
“This isnot something to joke about,” Darry said suddenly. “We cannot just through thisunder the rug.”
“Oh, I’mserious!”
“I thinkwe all want to hurt him right now,” Steve commented.
“[Y/N],”said Darry as he looked down at you, “listen to me. Like Steve said, this isserious. If you really don’t want us to say anything, we won’t. But if thiskeeps happening, we are going to have to. If you can’t go home, please stayhere with us.”
“Oh, no,I couldn’t,” you said suddenly. “Thank you, but I would be too much trouble.”
You wipedat your eyes again. You had hiccups something severe.
“No, youwouldn’t!” Pony assured you. “You can stay in my room. Soda could stay withDarry?”
“We arekeeping you as far away from him as humanly possible,” said Dally coldly.
You chewedyour lips as you looked up at Dallas. He looked stressed. You understood wherehe was coming from. You looked over at Johnny again. He sat down on one of the diningtable chairs closest to the living room. Despite that everybody was frowning, you offered him a broken smile.
