Sylus often watches you sleep.

You even call his name, but your voice is filled with pain.
It tortures him to hear and see you like this. But he can't do anything to change the dreams.
One night, he holds you extra tight. Whispering to you as you sleep. Doing everything he can to protect you in this state of slumber.
Then, he hears it. Something he hasn't heard in this life.
His heart skips a beat and then wells with so much love and longing. He can't help but bury his face into your neck as he holds you, eyes slightly damp as he smiles.
