I've made a little three.js butterfly who will chase your cursor around. I find it so soothing, so maybe if you're having a not-so-great day today like I am, she'll cheer you up đŠ

I've made a little three.js froggy. You can move him around with the arrow keys or by clicking. https://codepen.io/darylmesh/pen/gOQxzdm
If youâd like to see what Iâve been up to at work lately, follow Meshcapade on Instagram.Â
I havenât posted in a while. The pandemicâs obviously been hard on everyone, and Iâm just proud I finally managed to finish this drawing Iâd been planning for months.
There was a small window at the beginning of March where retail was reopen in Berlin, and I managed to get a frame and a passe-partout made for this piece. I wanted to layer translucent paper to create this view of the Alps as seen from Axams in Innsbruck from a trip we took in the Beforetimes. Even though I had everything prepped, I was having a tough time to motivate myself to actually start working on it, so the frame hung empty on my wall for two months, silently mocking me.
My job had a company-wide day off last week, and I finally managed to turn it out. So now I can roam my apartment freely without a wall judging me. I need to go outside more.
The final piece is four layers.
My tiny orange boy broke his foot two weeks ago, so send positive energy his way. Heâs been healing very well and is currently mostly just facing the injustice of having had his entire leg shaved before surgery and having to return to the vet every three days to get his bandage changed. Heâs a trooper.
Half inch high hooded crow
I based this on a pine cone I found in Portugal a few years ago. Iâve been working from photos for so long it felt like having a celebrity in the room.
This little guy is probably to scale. So tiny. So poisonous.

Iâve had Sugarland by Marnie stuck in my head for the past four months. Making this hasnât really helped anything.

Itâs a lady fern and therefore one of the classier ferns.
This is Reeses and Twix, two very soft bun buns. There is not a thread out there that could match their velveteen-ness.
