PATRICIA ARQUETTE as Harmony Cobel Severance, season one
MERYL STREEP as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada (2006) (dir. David Frankel)
Eric Bogosian and Luke Brandon Field as Daniel Molloy INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE
HONKAI: STAR RAIL (Version 1.2 "Even Immortality Ends")
It would seem the two of us can still coordinate our efforts.
hold on, so if the lie theory(tm) is true and aziraphale lied to crowley about metatron's true intentions because metatron wasn't going to welcome crowley back to heaven and potentially threatened to erase him from the book of life if aziraphale refused to go along with his plan, were crowley's words in that one minisode supposed to foreshadow the season's finale?
"i'm a demon, i lied" crowley says, as if it's obvious, but his confession in episode 6 suggests otherwise, doesn't it? crowley decides to finally be truthful with both himself and aziraphale, literally pours his heart out, and what does aziraphale do in return? he is the liar now, he's been practising white lies for quite some time, as unangelic as it may seem. rescuing him makes crowley happy, aziraphale knows it very well, which is why he cannot tell him the truth, the stakes are too high now
it is probably another role reversal, and i believe what the coffee theory(tm) and the swap theory(tm) have in common is that they're both based on misunderstanding the metaphors. almond in coffee is poison indeed, it's poisoning aziraphale's judgement by threatening him with God's/heaven's wrath if he refuses to obey. similarly, aziraphale and crowley do swap places, in the sense that crowley does the good thing and aziraphale does the bad thing, so to speak
or does he? can breaking your loved one's heart in an attempt to save their life be considered evil? or is it just another shade of grey for aziraphale to discover?
having a mental breakdown over the fact that deku managed to keep his cool when shigaraki was a step away from killing him and a bunch of other people BUT NOT WHEN MONOMA INSULTED HIS KACCHAN
it is literally spelt out that deku isn't the kind of person to panic in cases of emergency, i wonder if there's a pattern to him losing his shit... hmmm...
excuse me, but is there an explanation why all might's words about transfering OFA to an unwilling recipient are illustrated by gifting chocolates??? isn't there a tradition in japan to gift chocolates as a way of confessing your feelings??? oh my god
considering the high probability that bakugo is that "unwilling" recipient as of now... that's a huge setup to the "requited unrequited love" trope if i've ever seen one
no idea how i'm supposed to look at bakugo in ch. 362 and believe this is the person who's canonically been called ugly...
i've never considered him ugly per se, but in that chapter he was so... gorgeous? ethereal? otherwordly?
in love? and the fact that it doesn't feel rushed or ooc, that you can't tell how exactly it went from Point A to Point B, but you know that the journey was there and you have no doubt that you're at the final destination... i continue to be in awe of it
call me delusional, but if my hypothetical partner wouldn't have the same blissful expression while thinking of me on the brink of death, saying my name as if that's the only thing that could bring them relief, i don't want one
two sides of the same coin
forged together but never facing the same direction
narrator: his heart wasn't quite ready for that
the implications these words might have if it turns out that deku was the one who suggested "dynamight" to be bkg's hero name in their childhood...
it seems much more possible if we recall deku's creativeness in making up hero names :') dynamight would honestly be his greatest creation
i mean, it is common to interpret these words from aizawa in that particular context as "bkg wants to be called lord explosion murder -> people think he bad, he is no hero", but what if it's a foreshadowing of a sort?
what if bkg including "dynamight" in his hero name, which might actually be deku's invention, is him accepting that he sees his future with deku? by his side?
i have the tools for my clown makeup on the ready in case this theory proves to be too much of a stretch and "dynamight" is just an adorable tribute from fanboy kacchan to his childhood hero... but deku hasn't heard it yet, has he? what if there's a particular reason behind it? a lot of attention was paid to the choice of bkg's hero name, and i'd like to believe that we are yet to find out its true meaning
"your alias represents your DESIRES" could it be a version of "control your heart" from bkg's side?
"how CHILDISH" well, no shit, jeanist
you can argue all you want about how deku doesn't imitate kacchan in the final arc, sure, whatever
but would you care to explain then why there is literally an illustration for bkdk body swap au in ch. 39???
