1. What is this zine about?
GUNITA is an art and writing charity zine for SB19. It centers on “Simula, Gitna, Wakas” and everything in between: the moments that shaped their journey and the spaces where fans found them.
2. Is this an official SB19 project?
No. This is a fan-led, non-profit project created by fans, for fans.
3. Will this zine include ships?
Contributors of all preferences are welcome; however, the zine itself will not feature romantic ships. The focus is on SB19 as individuals and as a group.
4. What kind of content is allowed?
alternate universes (AUs)
interpretive, symbolic, or experimental pieces
…as long as they align with the theme and follow the content guidelines.
While we welcome everyone regardless of experience and preferred medium of storytelling, we might allow social media-based stories (AUs) for the physical zine only if they are in collaboration with artists who will be drawing a limited number of panels. Note that this remains to be seen, as social media AUs take up a lot of space and can jack up the costs of printing should we proceed with a physical zine. There is a specific question addressing this within the interest check form, suggesting alternatives and workarounds that allow for more cost-effective inclusion of social media AUs in the project.
5. In what language will the stories be written?
Depending on the results of the interest check, the zine may feature works in English, Tagalog, or Taglish.
6. Who can join the zine?
Writers, artists, moderators/admins, and readers are all welcome to express interest.
7. Do I need prior zine experience?
No. Experience is helpful, but not required. We’re looking for contributors who can commit to the project and bring their own perspective to it.
8. When will the interest check open?
The interest check form is scheduled to open on April 21 at 8PM Philippine Standard Time.
9. Is the interest check a commitment?
No. The interest check is simply a way for us to gauge interest and shape the project. You are not obligated to apply or participate afterward.
10. How will contributors be selected?
Applications will be reviewed by the moderation team based on fit, quality of previous work or samples, and how well submitted prompts align with the zine’s theme.
11. What platform will be used for communication?
Discord will be our main platform for updates, coordination, and communication throughout the project.
12. What if I can’t use Discord?
We strongly encourage contributors to join Discord, as it will be our primary communication hub. This helps ensure everyone stays informed and supported throughout the project. As an alternative, contributors can opt to use email for communication with the moderation team.
13. What is the expected timeline?
A detailed timeline will be shared once contributors are selected, including check-ins and final deadlines.
14. Will this zine support a charity?
Yes. This is a charity zine, and we are currently gathering suggestions for beneficiary organizations through the interest check.
15. Will contributors and moderators be paid?
As this is a charity project, proceeds (if any) will go toward the selected beneficiary. Contributors and moderators may receive minimal financial and other forms of compensation (e.g., physical copy of the zine and merch) only if the charity goals are met.

This project is, at its core, a space. For stories, for reflection, and for the many ways SB19 found us along the way.
