once you get used to some of its quirks (and the lack of a zone map/compass for some fucking reason😭), expeditions: rome is scarily well made. incredible voice acting, some hilarious dialogue choices, npc chatter that knows how to make fun of the setting, super yummy character key and zone art. also some very lovable companions from the get go. highly recommend if you're willing to pretend playing the strategical battles on easy to speed past them doesn't make you a weakling like i do i am NOT here to do my job i'm here to be silly
