Plot of the week idea i had for TNG (dunno if it has actually happened in some of the shows): something disables all the universal translators, and thus nobody on the ship can understand one another, even all the humans are blocked from communication as they never actually speak english, they speak their own languages that just get translated. The crew has to mime, charade and gesture their way in to fixing whatever is blocking translators :3

It actually goes incredibly well, especially due to his smart wife
I want to watch lower decks so bad but it is a mess to get ahold of in my country T-T
And thus i am finished with my watchtrough of Deep Space nine! I'd say it's overall probably my favorite of the DS9, Voyager, TNG trio, though things got a bit messy at season 7 if you ask me.
As for the finale? Haven't got much to say about it, i'm perhaps a bit disappointed, but there was probably not a way to wrap it up perfectly no matter how well one tried.
My least favorite ending for a character was definetly Ben Sisko, I grew a bit tired of the emissary plotline toward the end of the show, as it removed so much of his agency, but oh well.
I might ramble about my opinions on other characters, might not, but as of now this blog will prolly become even more irregular than it is, as my wheel of interests clicks over to something else. Will still post here sometimes though :3

Welp, i cried.
It is crazy to see how Nog went from this crook of a kid, to an overly eager cadet, to a complex and weary ensign. Vic was interesting and had nice development, but Nog is the star of the episode.
