Hey, I’m Seph!
You can call me Data too, whichever you’d prefer. I’m the one that takes and posts all the photos you’ll find on this account (of course).
I realised that the staple number you’ll see in all of my posts has never been explained. So, I’d like to finally do just that.
13 September, 1985 is not the following:
- My birthday (I was born in December and 15 years younger than an ‘85 kid, [sorry])
- An important date in my life or my family.
13 September, 1985 is:
- A Friday the 13th. That’s really it.
For some reason, I really like those days. They can be chaotic and fun, at least in my life. And with the aesthetic I run, an older year made the most sense in my head.
At one point, I considered changing the date. Every few weeks, I would go up a year and pick a new Friday the 13th until I got to the actual current date. And then just follow that pattern. However, with the amount that I’ve been able to leave my home and take photos, I haven’t been able to find inspiration or take nearly enough pictures to pull that off. So, I stick with the same date every time and I have for many years.
Maybe one day I can finally try doing that, it might be a little fun. It would also be interesting to mentally catalogue more of those dates.
